its funny i never heard of Mandisa, she recently died and ppl speculate that she may have lost her battle to depression, she may not have overcome in the way she thought but she still did cus of Jesus. and now I am in bed depressed hurting and I am just listening to her interviews and her testimony and it helps me. God works all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to His plan, even in death God is using her testimony to bless me.
Read Psalms out loud. Start praising God through Psalms and you'll forget what depression is.
Yeah this crossed my mind. The thing is, many Christian’s don’t believe in therapy. And honestly, she may have needed it.
Keep pushing! Talk to God and ask Him for the right community that will encourage and support you through this season of depression.

I have been a huge fan of Mandisa for years. I am listening to this since she passed away. Over 2023 I had suicidal thoughts, anxiety and depression. I have wonderful people in my life who loved me through this dark time. Mandisa is still helping people today. Rest in His Peace. 🕊

Smiling is the easiest part of the hard pain she carried, she must have felt alone in some way or area.
I am so thankful that God removed the shame that was not just in my life, but it was my identity. I will forever thank God for the special group of Christian mental health practitioners He brought into my life. Through my entire childhood, shame defined me. I was in my mid 30's when I learned the truth. God removed the shame. He healed the very broken little girl who lived in my body. He showed me the truth. Then He wrapped His arms around me and called me his beautiful daughter.
I am just so heart broken rewatching this with Mandisa’s passing. Nothing is making sense at the moment. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

@@jac5348 yeah and they still haven't told us anything so it's making me wonder even more, it's shocking someone like her who was always very bright and cheerful could do it but often it's the people who keep up the most pleasant of appearances who end up doing it in some cases

Sweet Sweet Mandisa 😇❤I personally had to release myself from Christian dogma after 40 years as a self described Christian in order to heal from my anxiety & depression. Yes 🙌🏽 I am deconstructing from religion and finally feeling alive and well 🙌🏽. But I still love Mandisa & Cece Winans & Jeshua 😇😇😇
Just a reminder that no matter how much WE want something or WE want God to do something, or how much WE feel. it is ultimately HIS will that prevails. HE is almighty. HE is merciful and gracious and will always do what is good and right even if we don't understand it at that moment. He has it under control. WE must trust Him. Not my will Lord, but yours.

Praying for her on the other side as Catholic. Her journey didn’t end, it continues on the other side. I am like all of us, so heartbroken and at a loss for words. She mentioned suicide in this video and the thought she may have died by suicide is heart wrenching. I know he said aa Christian’s we should be stronger but depression or suicidal tendencies can’t be fought with strength. It may need a doctors help, medication, therapy or hospitalization.

Clinical depression may need to be treated, chemical or hormonal imbalances. Not only prayer but meditation is needed
God uses doctors too.

It’s hormonal imbalance with women and women have a lot of issues with their hormones.

Jesus please continue to give me the strength to keep supporting myself and my two autistic children. Because I’m losing hope. My boys require so much from me because they are non verbal. Due to them having many issues in school, I’m homeschooling them. I’m a single mother. These past two years since covid have been hard on me. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Bills are piling up and I can barely afford groceries for my children. I feel like a failure. Every month is a struggle, and now that I’m homeschooling them my schedule is limited. I’m so overwhelmed and ashamed. But God gives me strength. I get harassed and bullied on this app for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I NEED. As christians we must have compassion towards one another so please be kind I’m already feeling defeated. BUT! Even as I struggle! I keep faith in God. He is the God of possible! I HAVE FAITH HE WILL PROVIDE! He has this far. THANK YOU JESUS! I will only trust in GOD!
