2025 Genesis GV80 Full Tour - See the luxury inside and out!

Driving the GV80 is a delight to the senses.
This was my second opportunity to spend time in a GV80 so I knew I was in for a treat when I got to Fort Worth for the 2025 Genesis GV80 drive. This is the first luxury family car I've had the pleasure of taking an extended drive in. The GV80 goes up against other small luxury SUV's like the BMW X5, Lexus RX and the Acura MDX.
One of my favorite things about the brand is the Son-Nim (honored guest) approach they use in all they do. From the materials in the car, to the feel of the drive, it's first class all the way.
There are so many things to love about this car but i'll try to condense it for you!
The seats were luxe and comfortable and the customization of the steering wheel fit perfectly in my hands. The highway driving assist gave me a little rest when I was on a longer drive and I drove plenty around Fort Worth, Texas.
I logged about 500 miles in it over 2 days and never fatigued.
I felt the interface was easy to use .. I love the addition of WIRELESS Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and it goes to a new level with the enormous OLED one-piece display screen!
I can't even describe the infotainment in words so you'll need to see my mood curator video here. This car can literally change your mood!!
Here are a few things you need to know:
AWD standard on all GV 80s!
Two engine choices: a 2.5L turbo 4cyl or a 3.5 L twin turbo V6 which makes
375 hp / 391 torque
This car is so finely tuned, it could drive itself.
The best part of the drive was the balanced handling and responsive acceleration. It was easy to handle in urban environments and easy to park! I loved the peppy V6 engine. :)

Genesis uses an upgraded electronically controlled suspension which uses front cameras to read the road surface ahead and then optimally controls the vehicles (ecs -0 electronically controlled suspension) to optimize ride comfort.
I put this to the test when I had to make a quick swerve around debris in the center of the road and I was going about 60 mph.
This car also has crosswind stability control - which used partial braking and steering torque to improve high speed driving stability at high winds.
One thing that is VERY important to me, I found the cabin to be incredibly quiet.. which has a lot to do with the insulation used on the door glass and the GV80 has soundproof materials all over.. to keep every seat quiet.
There's also active noise canceling that takes the road noise and puts it thru your Bang & Olufsen sound system for reduced noise cancellation…
It’s really wild what technology is capable of these days!
I’ll tell you what’s new and what I love about the 2025 Genesis GV80 by the numbers.
There's a NEW 27 inch amphitheater like one piece OLED display screen that curves and covers the entire area from the driver display to the multimedia screen. It's sleek in design and the graphics are super clear.
There are available 22 inch five spoke two line wheels in higher trim levels that just do it for me. They add such a sporty unique element and really make the side profile look more substantial.
A few things to note that may not be new but I they're worth highlighting:
You have 4 zone climate control that helps make sure everyone is the perfect temperature.
The 3.5 L twin turbo charged V6 is responsive and makes 375 hp. I am so glad Genesis still has the option of a V6.
MPG isn't bad: you get 16 city / 22 hwy / for 19 mpg combined
New things to note:
The new front end has a double mesh grille that is elegant… it also features larger air vents on lower front bumper.
The hood emblem -- its flush and all metal badging / emblem to make it more streamlined.
They've added MLA headlamps - micro lens array are new this year.
Wheels - new choices which includes 20” on other trims and this has a
22 inch 5 spoke wheels with 2 line detail

Doors are SOFT CLOSE… AHHHH
Beautiful glass shifter
You'll also find :
Redesigned steering wheel with Two toned leather.
It has Power tilt and tele scoping and it’s heated!!
