21 Command and Conquer Voices, 1 Guy

- Hey all :)
So I have been waiting to do another video until I got a new microphone, because the one I had before just didn't do justice to the impressions. I was practising like crazy and sounded good, then when I'd record something it sounded terrible. So I'm borrowing a REALLY good mic atm, and just wanted to test it out, so I did this vid. :)
Now, if you haven't played Command and Conquer Generals (its a computer game) then you will have NO IDEA what I'm going on about...but basically, all you need to know is that I'm doing a bunch of voices from the game, and with this new beautiful mic, they are pretty darn close to the real thing. So hopefully I'll be able to get some really good stuff on here now that I actually sound ok!

GamerRanger should be easy to install: just Google.
The game itself is a lot harder to find and install. I used the PirateBay to find a torrent and download the game. Game Ranger works only with version 1.04 of the game, so search the pirate pay also for the 1.04 patch.
I can't remember exactly what I did to make it work, if you try the above and it doesn't work, let me know and I might be able to re-trace my steps and give you more info.

I loved this game so much. Great job on the voices. If you still play RTS games they made a new one called Act of Aggression by eugene studios that is very similiar to CNC zero hour.

I never thought of the Commanche as southern, but when you did it felt really obvious. I'd like a list or something of every American unit and whereabouts they're from, accent-wise.

This was really freakin' good except the lack of energy in the execution. I'd say 70% of what makes the in-game quotes so good is that they deliver a good deal of rythm and energy.
hmm some of the voices are slightly off, but then again some are very good, your gla base announcer guy voice is really good, but i didnt really feel the mig and the overlord, and i mean... you didnt even have the nuke cannon.. We bear gifts... Brighter than the sun! They will never forget
GLA was my favorite, no air units but you didn't have to worry about someone taking out your power and all your static defenses going down.
