I thought of a cool concept for a video series. Recreate the finals of “major” CEDH tournaments. It would show off decks performing well at the top of the meta and test if the winning deck is truly the best. Love the videos!
I'd agree but maybe decks from the top 16 so we don't see another 3 hours of blue farm on blue farm on blue farm with a dash of Derevi
I like this idea
@@jd7391blue farm hasn’t won in a while
Peter going crazy, that game was wild. The Kenrith always showing that you can be doing nothing one turn, and winning the game the next.
Maybe I don’t understand something, but why Zack didn’t draw cards in the first game as Kraum?
was wondering the same thing...
He missed the triggers.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG meaning the table missed it, right? Considering it's not an optional trigger
That is one of the problems in a 4 player table. You have to be really focused because if you lose an important trigger you are done. @@PlayingWithPowerMTG
If it's competitive, you have to remember your triggers. Missed triggers are missed and the game carries on. It's the best way to remember also, after this one he'll never forget again.@@gabrielribeiro3166
That game 1 line was pretty incredible
The deflecting swat was spicy
I'm truly blessed. Getting to see a new episode on my birthday, with my favorite commander showcased? Amazing ❤
Happy birthday!
Did Zac miss like almost opus trigger to draw? Or did I miss something
Where are the Kraum triggers? Multiple missed triggers at least on video.
My thoughts exactly.
Magic is hard
It’s rough given that the entire engine of the deck are the alternating Kraum and Tymna triggers.
Yeahh, as a bluefarm player; this does trigger me. 😅🤘🏽
yeah I was thinking from turn 2, he might have emptied his hand but having both commanders down would draw him back in but then he missed all the kraum goodness
Sweet, nothing better to start a cold day then blazing cEDH gameplay
That was some tight gameplay, props to the winners
Gotta see Peter's Toosie slide! (or all four honestly lol) would love to see the pregame shenanigans when they are fun ones
1:58 🎉🎉🎉 blue farm on SAVANNA ❤. Bold move cotton. Let’s see if it pays off for him.
Thassa's Oracle and Dockside seem to be key pieces in winning a lot of games. Is it worth running stifling pieces like Hushbringer or Torpor Orb against these?
Anyway amazing content as always. Loved these games.
I'd say definitely, if you're deck doesn't rely on either. Shuts down half of tivit too
I think there was a small mess up, Zack's opening hand visual shows him having Savannah while he starts the game with Scrubland and the card is illegal in blue farm. Awesome video, looking forward to more in the future!
why would scrubland be illegal?
@@Tacet137 Scrubland isn't illegal Savannah is, they just messed up their visual. I did word it a little badly though
@@welcomehome7247 ok in that case, why wouldn't savannah be illegal?
Because Blue Farm no green
@@PlutoDarknight nice, lands are colorless tho
That deflecting swat peer into the abyss was amazing
Ive been trying to convince my buddy to grab a sardian avenger for his krenko deck since i started doing research for my ob nixilis deck. For some reason he still doesnt see the value it generates for a two mana goblin.
I love the Play to Win mat!
Ive never even seen Satdian Avenger before. Pretty cool card.
In game 2 Nick lead with his pilgrim instead of sentinel. Is that normally correct? I feel like he would have drawn at least 2 or 3 more cards before it even got back to his turn. Then his turn two he just played the sentinel and passed when he could have played the pilgrim just the same.
Am i missing something? Why does Zack's deck run Savanah, a G/W land that doesnt run Green?
Why were Peter and Zeb going after each other so hard post-Peer? They clearly needed to focus on stopping Zack. Also, Jetmir is so bad.
That first game was absolutely nuts! Idk if that was 1000 iq or just taking actions to try to get there but extremely well played
Damn, this tymna+Kraum deck seems decent.
How did Peter activate wishclaw talisman at 5:15? There was stuff on the stack and you can only activate wishclaw at sorcery speed.
It’s only during your turn. Not sorcery speed.
I still question why Underworld Breach isn't just permanents if they expected people to just use it to escape large creatures and not go infinite with cheap spells
shouldnt kraum trigger abunch?
Yes. But Zack kept missing it.
man i wanna see some more tayam gameplay, if possible i think that commander is an abzan powerhouse. video was super cool tho loved it ❤❤
It mostly had brewers advantage and surprised people for a bit. But really it’s a super parasitic deck that can’t win without its commander.
In game one, kenrith had game with phimage, dockside and kenrith. He can reanimate phimage as a copy od dockside, target it with kenriths green ability to sac it, then reanimate it in a loop for infinite mana and draw everyone out at instant speed
Hey there! So as far as I understand it, that awesome Kenrith loop you’re describing requires dockside to make 8+ treasures each iteration: 2 for the green ability, 5 for the reanimation, then 1 extra to net positive and go infinite. In this case the dockside was only making 6 which is why I didn’t go that direction! Cheers, and let me know if I missed something. :)

@@MortiviusMTG oop. Thought dockside count was high enough. Good call
Is there a reason for playing final fortune on someone else´s upkeep such as in this video?
Peter was under Abeyance and couldn't cast Final Fortune until his turn was over.
People sleep on Sardian Avenger, he's an absolute house.
What the hell was the lotho player thinking game 2
Lotho just makes these game 3 player games. Constantly a non entity outside of feeding the other decks docksides
Kraum trigger missed at 3:53
Krauum triggers are missed all over the place
@@calebo7223 yea this was my first comment and then I was like wtf is going on
Doesnt Nick's archon shut off the demonic consultation in game 2 or am i missing something?
It was bounced with Otawara.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG ah thank you, missed that
Professional Face-Breaker doesn't create that many trasures, only one for each damage step.
EDIT: Not true
It makes one for each player that was dealt damage by a creature. So it can make three treasure per combat step if each player is attacked. Up to 6 if double strike is involved.
Im not upset im seeing thassas oracle win so much but i am upset its being able to resolve so often x.x my fav thing to do against the combo is counter it right as they feel they are winning
Okay am I going crazy or is every Kraum trigger being missed right here?
Yes, they missed a ton of Kraum triggers in this game.
Zack with ALMOST the greatest turn 1 of all time
that poor kraum
Deflecting Swat OP
Can we see more thada adel please 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Peanut 🥜 🧈 butter!!
The game 1 kenrith's opening hand looks unkeepable for me. Fortunately topdeck a rhys.
2 good games. ❤❤❤
Also lotho is running ad naus with average cmc 1.7. no wonder he mulligans it game 1
Kraum don't draw ?
SARDIINNNE AVENGGGGGGER !!!!
Bad times to play Peer into.. too much Orchis out there
Love the cedh format, but hate the fact that all decks with blue are the same. It's always a thassa's oracle win.
Rough showing for Jetmir. It’s not an easy deck to pilot, in this world of turbo fiends
I had good stax out game 1. They still just managed to get there through removal I was looking pretty good game 2 besides a misplay(grabbing the wrong land turn one) but yeah that pita ended that game quick.
@@Theronxzif I could make a suggestion, perhaps try running less value creatures and more stax ones. You have some neat includes, but if you can’t slow/stop their advantage they’re going to run over Jetmir.
I am intrigued by Shadowfaxe though. I’ll likely test that out 🙂 Thanx!
No Kraumbat... SON, I AM DISAPPOINT.
I'm off my game!
Playing with Power’s New Year’s resolution should be piloting decks without oracle and breach.
Hate dockside soooooo much
I saw this comment before watching, yea wow there are a lot of missed triggers.
Lotho in cedh is a joke, sorry
I’m so glad I’ve stopped playing PITA.
Thoracle again and again... so boring
....
Show something other than Thassa wins. Many spells on the stack isn't enough to make up for this lame playstyle.
