Great game. Love watching a battle where everyone has a rhysitc out by turn 2 lol Small missplay from Peter at 7:30. Should have countered the force of will instead of the ad nauseum. Always let pact resolve if you can.
That was a mildly conplex combo. I would have never have considered targeting phantasmal dockside for it to be sacrificed. Way to go peter with that piloting
this game was so loose! hurt to see cyc rift in response to Grand abolisher with not other in-hand answers to grand abolisher. The flusterstorm copies are hard to visualize but missing a time skip on an opponent is rough.
wish we could of seen Talion come out, I just switched from ahlena to him and I'm still trying to find the right cards and best number to pick. great video regardless though.
Hey I'm pushing Alena all I can before turning my deck "On the road to cedh" putting Talion as commander haha I'm hyped to see more Talion games like you.
Me clicking this video: Which Niv is it? Is it Reborn? Parun? Firemind? Dracogeniois? Oh who the fuck and I kidding, it’s Parun. It’s always fucking Parun.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG oh believe me, I've seen em. I guess I'd just like to see it more. I'm not 100% an anti blue player, but I do love seeing people like Charles go ham with a deck like Mono White, that most people wouldn't think is viable. But anyways, I love all the content. Thanks for always being entertaining
I'd disagree. You never know what the other players will have. Countering turn 1 rhystic is worth it. In hindsight maybe not seems how everybody else also cast rhystic but let's be honest. Rhystic turn 1 wins games
@@coreyhayslip5418 1 in a 4 player game with 4 cards in your hand you can’t battle card advantage on top of that there was literally a turn 1 rhystic in this game and he did not win the game there’s just too many card advantage engines to fight over it. Certain situations yes but not every no way the Force made sense he was the 1st player your hoping no one else has anything
I've had turn 1 rhystic studies and it absolutely wins the game. Being able to have an insane draw engine on turn 1 is super dangerous for the other players
Turn 1 rhystic is one of the best plays in cedh. It's the best card advantage engine in the game. Obviously I'm no expert but I've played enough to say that countering a turn 1 rhystic isn't a bad play at all. Especially since the player that countered the rhystic had a way to get his own. The meta is changing towards grindy midrange games and to be ahead in that department is huge. Everyone had pretty good hands though but that's not something you know ahead of time.
Bro won through 3 rhistic studies and misplaying his breach that's actually insane
Also didnt let pact of negation resolve for no reason
Well played Peter! I thought that underworld breach would be the end of it, what a come back.
Same here, Was rooting for Kenrith since i main Kenrith haha
Should have forced him to pay for pact via aiming all flusterstorms at the force of will.
yes, its good play i think
That was a really cool win. Kenrith really just does do everything doesn’t he?

What a nice game! Would like to see more of Talion
It’s coming!

It's a typical kenrith's plays
lol thats a common loop.. he could also put 1 dmg of the scac treasure on image instead of paying 2 mana with the +1/+1 counter
It was pretty cool to see! We love these types of loops.
How was he sacrificing the phantasmal image?
@@Mstrofdbzthrough its own ability.
Phantasmal dockside is an amazing way to win.
Ashani has a sick mat, I like it a lot!
Holy draw engines Batman!!! Lol

Shouldnt he not be able to target the phantasmal image with culling since it would die before it can be sacrificed?
It’s a cost to cast the spell, and culling doesn’t target.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG this feels illegal, but neet😅
Great vid!!! Merry Christmas!!!
Thanks! You too!
The power of Rhyst...Grand Abolisher.
Peter is a gamer; good lord he’s got some spicy plays.
where did nick get his playmat? :D
I ordered it online from I don't remember where ages ago. Sorry I can't help you any further than that.
I really appreciate the fact that you replied though!@@Theronxz Thanks for letting me know :3
Finally, a talion game lol
And then a wild Magistrate appeared, rip
didn't see it...
If someone had cast Dress Down in response to Phantasmal Image i wonder what would happen ? 🤔
Was that windbreak trap a misplay?
Lim-Dul's on upkeep, Phimage and Spell pierce. 3 spells

You always pick 2 then 1 then 3

I absolutely need ashani's playmat🤩🤩
Sweet win. Especially against so many totally fed and bloated Rhystics.
Yes it was
Me clicking this video: Which Niv is it? Is it Reborn? Parun? Firemind? Dracogeniois?
Oh who the fuck and I kidding, it’s Parun. It’s always fucking Parun.
Yeah it’s the best niv Mizzet.
why is peter playing shock lands and not the duels... i get it that he mabye don't like proxies. but the mana base is so painfull...
MIDRANGE HELL! 😈
need more rhystic triggers
Get rhystic countered and play underworld breach for nothing, but still wins the game and control the board with all counterspells? Crazy
I like that this punishes someone for playing a Dockside.
Niiiiice win
I want Ashanis playmat so bad
Great game
I'd really like to see some "No Blue" cEDH.
It’s not as exciting as you might hope.
Literally who can put together their wincon the fastest.
No blue cedh is boring and uninteractive.
All blue cedh is oppressive and sloggy
Perfection lies in the middle

Cool game .
Well hello.
misplay in that you can't rearrange off lim-dûl's vault!
It says you can arrange them in any order.
“…Then shuffle and put the last cards you looked at this way on top in any order.”
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG my fault! i was lied to LOL

This is just a terrible take. A turn one rhystic study is something most people will force
Honestly we should ban Rhystic Study
