This looks more like a comfy run, but the RNG is still stupid enough to drive you insane. I suggest everyone to play extreme if you don't want to spend an hour on this one
I used this guide it is definitely the best one so far (less malding). If I may make a suggestion, as soon as you enter P2, use S. Hanako while she still has buffs before Atsuko. It fills up 1/4 of the groggy bar which SEVERELY decreases RNG during the 3x S.Hanako spray. If you get lucky, you can even hold the 3rd spray and allows you to time Kikyou buff + S.Hanako debuff very reliably
Thanks man this is great advice I finally have a safe score for plat on EU (Insane clear is NOT guaranteed plat here). I think this is by far the best rotation if your SHanako isn't as high bond as the one in the video - mine is only 26 and there's higher ones I could borrow but I have to borrow Kikyou as I haven't fully built mine yet, so low bond SHanako has to make do.
@@RSRainstorm Actually the main benefit of this strat is that it lets you time a S.Hanako puddle + Kikyou buff and it happens right after the boss finishes his first set of dashes which save a ton of time

the damage from this dog is an RNG itself... sometimes you HAVE to activate atsuko from the very beginning because he hit like a damn truck in the first attack...
No Astuko, no S.Hoshino and only a UE40 S.Hanako this raid has been nothing but suffering for me. I tried the Koharu comp but with her being only 4* and after hours of trying, I've never been able to get a good damage cycle during the second phase's stun, which just getting to takes a lot of malding. I also don't have enough resources to build a second team. So guess i'll just have to take my L with no insane clear and no platinum.
You could do the speedrun strats for Extreme and pray for it to work. This raid is so difficult that Insane is guarantee plat and Extreme are able to rank very high depend on your score.
@@oscheoroset1298 that's heavily dependent on server. On EU for example only Torment is guaranteed plat. My insane clear was not enough for plat and there were several hundred people higher than me also without plat. I have since improved my score thanks to this less maldy run video, but yeah, a LOT of people are struggling for plat even with insane clears for this one!

@@oscheoroset1298 I don't think it's any more competitive than other servers, the problem is that we only have the top 2000 spots getting plat, which proportionally is far less than other global servers. I just checked the current rankings for this raid and the best Extreme clear is at 2602, so this means there are more than 600 people who cleared Insane and don't have plat! I really think they should at least expand it to the top 2500 so it's fair compared to the effort required in other global servers. I think a score of 27.5m *might* be enough for a safe plat in EU, probably a lot higher than US?

Thanks man. Finally able to clear it with this. However, thanks to skill card RNG & RNG of who gets hit by how much, it's been pretty maldy especially after 1:57 that after, I mostly just improvised or die otherwise. Had to 2-team it though. The raid apparently requires insanely high bond level for S.hanako at 42 & the best UE50 S.Hanako I can borrow is only at 27, which doesn't do enough damage to clear it with one team. With about a few million HP remaining (was 4-6M iirc? Team 2 started immediately after phase 3), fortunately the 2nd team run is pretty easy. Managed to clear it with my own UE50 S.Hanako (bond lv.20), Cherino, Akane, Koharu, Kotama & NY Fuuka. Having got my insane score, I'm not sure I want to mald insane again until next Tuesday though.

Gonna try this run tomorrow Cuz I'm hella mad about all the runs I had today. I maxed all I got my Atsuko to 5* but that wasn't enough, my Hanako never got to kill the boss with the 4* splashs at the start, and she is maxed in all. The design of this boss is so ass, if you depend on RNG to make the boss harder then it's bad design.
Update: It took me 2 hours and half of my phone's battery but I finally came victorious. This was the right strat for me, even my friends leveled Kikyou at *5 so it got kinds better. Won with 10 seconds and with Atsuko dying but I did it. Now... The problem is doing this daily, but thank you for sharing this one.
Thanks bro, finally clear this with UE40 Hanako. The skill card itself is also an RNG, if Hanako skill didn't spawn after using Kikyou and S. Hoshino, the run is practically over. Also, at phase 2, after the dog is groggy, Hanako can overcrit and deal enough damage to effectively skip to phase 3. My Hanako was able to do that so my run is faster than your run.

I did the earlier crit mald run and I'm probably pretty comfortably in plat, but yeah this raid is rough. Wonder how you'd even do body throw teams with the confusion effect and groggy gauge timing.

Ima try the UE40 version, see if it's easier to do than the current way I'm doing it. I do fear that my biggest issue will be my characters dying, namely my 4 star Atsuko.

I've been trying insane since it came out, no Atsuko, only 3 stars on both Kokona and Koharu (mostly) with maxed healing skills and I can't seem to clear it. Well even if you have them max, both of them are harder to use. That's because Kokona is single target and Koharu mostly heal with her EX, they make it harder compared to Atsuko. In phase 2, the boss deal AoE intimidation damage, so you will always need to heal with Koharu every cycle, unless you're lucky with the eye attack and go yolo. An AoE healer that heal over time, like Atsuko or O.Shirgure will make it easier. But using O.Shigure means you have no Ako or Himari.
i got no S.hoshino and just UE40 S.Hanako and somehow managed to 1 team insane WITH 0.3666 seconds left but im still at 3500 tho, hope that will be enough for the plat lmao😂
My students would just turn sus if i dont spam heal eventho i know there are certain conditions to turn them into being sus, but yeah they just turn sus Anyway
Is there a reason you start with Atsuko as one of the first 3 skills in the 2nd run? You end up using S!Hanako before her and if you get back RNG you wind up with Atsuko, Ako, and Himari after Kikyou's first burst.
screw this raid, I wan pan insane and still rank 1920 or so (100% I won't be plat unless I improve big time ...) ... seriously what the hell is wrong with this raid ? What I'm supposed to do ? Is doing torment now mandatory to not be left in gold ? Not like getting gold is end of world (it actually is !!!) , but what the hell ... I have UE40 Kikyou , UE50 S.Hanae, UE50 S.Hoshino , UE40 Ako/Himari , UE40 Atsuko . Doing all steps by the book and what else is necessary at this point ? Hopefully global servers arent turning into sweat houses where every 0,0001 seconds count for plat ... because if yes ... then I'm losing my interest. Game was supposed to be casual. My server gives plat only to top 2000 so despite fewer players on server - margin for getting good rewards is narrow.

I love when the eye hits Hanako seven fucking times in a row, or when during P2 when my units get separated during the dash attack and Atsuko is on the other side of the fucking planet and is unable to heal anyone, or when I waste a damage window because I built up groggy too fast by dealing too much damage. Glad we won't be seeing this pisswater boss again before getting T9 gear.

Oh does it? Well I didn't use her EX there because sometimes S.Hanako will crit too much in phase 2, as you can see in the video.

I think at current state..the boss seems rng but when tier 9 equipment out in global, the raid will be more stable( less rng)

Purposely use Kikyou before 10 cost so that she won't be able to use her normal skill and we can enjoy her frown of disapproval. Hehe.

Well this run makes your team stay in phase 2 longer, so that can be a problem.
I'm using 3star Atsuko skill5777 equip888 and All students are perfectly fine.

You deal too much dmg I guess? There is nothing you can do except restart or don't buff Ako and Himari if you want to adjust.

You can try to use 2x S.Hanako at the end of phase 1 instead and improvise?
I think you need Himari UE40 buff retention to get off 3 Hanako EXs with the Himari attack buff
