I like how gunlance went from being the least mobile weapon to the most mobile weapon with one move
I love it when I guard against the metal raths’ heavy fireballs and then as I use my bullet barrage I whisper “my turn”
Your videos must be the kind of gameplay the devs imagined when they came up with the movesets. Actually using aerial shelling to blast airborne wyverns down? You don't see that in a speedrun.

Gunlance is so slow and methodical, it is amazing you managed to make it look so dynamic and still blast the flyers out of the sky. The air shelling over Daora's attack is especially cool XD

Since Monster Hunter world, gunlance will always be my main weapon in Monster Hunter games. It just that easy to use. You dont care about weak spot, you dont care about sharpness, you dont care about taking damage. Just explode the monster face and keep doing it

Would you recommend the gun lance? I'm a hammer/DB main and getting kinda bored with them while grinding anomaly levels. Looking for something out of the ordinary.
@@Dyonivan gun lance is fun because your guard is so high. You can shield 99 percent of attacks. It's not the highest DPS but it's fun the whole time. Blast dash is so fun! Explosions are fun! People say it has no mobility but you have to use blast dash and some evade extender is good too. Watch some videos by Rhurikan and CaoSlayer they are top notch GL

Bullet Barrage is Beautiful
It's definitely my fav of all of them so far, and i don't even play gunlance, fiddled with it in training room but never got to actually taking it for a hunt. I got 1000+ on a lance tho, i wonder if i will enjoy it when i finally get to it! Anyway, this with this music is so epic.

Gunlance is very clunky ya. I love the weapon but man it's just hard to play in this game sometimes, I can't imagine what u must've had to go through for those clips 😹

I’ve always wanted to play gun lance but as a LS user don’t have the first clue where to start this is how everyone wished they played lol. Can u do a build video?
I'm a LS and GL main, the beautiful thing about gunlance is that you can play it in any way you want. Want big damage numbers popping everywhere? Play bullet barrage style. Want flashy combos? Play around with reverse blast dash and hail cutter (the air reload move). Want a more grounded style still capable of doing good damage? Play fullburst style. Another thing is that you aren't locked into a single scroll since most of gunlance damage comes from shells and neither dereliction nor MoH buff them, so you're free to mix and match your moves as much as you want. If you're looking for important skills, I recommend using wind mantle, wire bug whisperer and intrepid heart for comfort, whereas if you're looking for damage the skills that actually improve shelling damage are sneak attack, artillery, frostcraft (weirdly enough) and dango bombardier (and, passively, load shells since it gives you more bullets). Hope this helps and to see you join the fray with this amazingly fun weapon

I’ve never been a fan of GL. It always felt too slow and clunky without the damage numbers to back it up. That being said, with it’s Rise edition, I have grown more fond of the weapon, and this video has only heightened my respect for both the boom stick, and those who wield it.
This made me realize how trash i am at gunlance
the only thing that missed is the aerial bullet barrage, its a pretty cool move when you attack from a high place

Gunlance is a naturally OP weapon that's why capcom limited it with shelling level. 😂 Sad.
I was a GS main but sunbreak did Gunlance so great that it's now my main weapon. Love flying around 😆
Do you use long or short shelling I can't choose between it.
I use long because I like shooting multiple times in the air :)
I know I ask this often in your videos, but what are the switch skill loadouts that you use? And are the shielding abilities any good for this weapon? I ask because I am a lance player and I wanna try gunlance, but I know the shield doesn’t have instablock (my beloved)
I don't have fixed loadouts since I like changing switch skills in every different matchups
