Well this is old video but I just found it and I was there last year. 2023. Thought I might have seen my truck in your video, haha. It didn't work out so well for us, we (my son and I. along with my sons friends) were tent camping and the wind tore up the tent. I was having major trouble walking and had to use a cane to get around. And I went alone one day to go to Hammer Town and the dust was so bad that I didn't even know where I was when I parked and started to go walking to Hammer Town but couldn't find it after I parked...lol. SO turned around walking with my cane I looked for my truck until I just couldn't walk any more. I met some guys that were driving razors and one of them offered to take me looking for my truck. My key fob wouldn't even work because all of the dust. To make a long story short I gave up because the dust was so bad, this guy took me all the way back to camp near the main gate of Hammer Town where I thought I could get some help. There was no one there and I stuck around for an hour or so and decided to solve my problem on my own. So I walked from the main gate back to hammer town to look for my truck with my cane. It was pretty tough. while dodging all the high speed vehicles racing by. I really thought some one would stop and give an old guy with a cane a ride but no one did. I walked all the way past Hammer Town. I walked to a point where i saw A lot of vehicles and never saw my truck. I got past all of them and really stressed about finding it and turned around and looked back from where I had come. There it was, I had probably walked right past it. I was so happy to find it along with the cold beer and the food in the ice chest in the back of it. Before I go back to King of the Hammers I will have an RV and a side by side to get around , although my truck did well.

You really should use kinetic rope for pulls like that. A tow strap serves a different purpose. Just an observation! Great video!
That’s a ARB Snatch Rope, my kinetic rope is not rated for that weight, so I use other Strechy rope in my bag, this one is 33k rated and don’t worry this is a great rope not just tow strap

Yeah before I got there I looked all over the website to see Drone rules and didn’t find anything, then on last day an Official told me that we can’t fly so I landed and packed it away but that was after I got few shots. Will know better for next time. 🤦♂️

Don’t chop the end off the next one you get.you need a flange on the gearbox and a slider along the shaft between the diff and the new center bearing you are going to fit. That means you can have a longer sliding joint to give you more travel. Don’t forget a center bearing is the cure your looking for. Cost a bit but “hey”. Only buy it once and maybe the center bearing because they can be a little frail but new part around 40 dollars. Another way to get greater angles through the driveshaft would be knuckle ends as in the hubs but god they would cost the Earth. Oooops, my wrong. Please pass this on to the great chap Mat.

Yes way to many people i agree. But there is a lot of room to camp in. You just have a go where there is no one around that's what I did. My closest neighbor was about 150 yards away.
We did the same we parked and Camped by Turkey Claw hill, to watch Racecars tackle that obstacle

i wish i could Matt broke it earlier that day, and i don't want show that it was missing driveshafts and he spent rest of our stay. fixing it on some privet property outside of KOH, so we will all find out what happen when he will post his side of the story, i talked to Paul and Rudy about what happened should be interesting video coming our way.
