What about the fuses? I also used it for a couple hours once, come back and it's dead! The fuse must be the problem but i can't seem to find it anywhere

My alarm keeps going off
Alyssa Nunez the new metal fog machine with alarm from party city came defective.all of them had the malfunction of the alarm going off.to get rid of that annoying sound,remove the cover of the fog machine with a screwdriver and find the cable following the alarm speaker.from there disconnect the cable and put the cover back .hope this helps

They dont really work and the alarms on them are the worst soooo loud.
Ive returned mine 3 times and all 3 didn't work and the alarms just kept buzzing.
What are the alarms for?

"Fog juice"
The brand they use is Season Visions International and they suck. I purchased 2 in one day, both didn't work right out of the box. One was a 400 Watt and the other was a 1000 Watt. The 400 Watt didn't even respond with the tank full of fog fluid and the 1000 Watt sounded like an air compressor filling itself (which is loud as hell if you've never heard that) and only sprayed the fog about 2 ' untill it would clog itself and shut off after about 10 seconds. Garbage brand, invest in some quality control and actually test a few before they roll of the assembly line. Waste of time and money.

is it expensive to have to constantly use fog liquid??
I bought the 1000 two years ago, and I went to use it last year for Halloween...the pump died. Think I could find a pump anywhere...good luck. I plugged it in a couple days ago to see if maybe some kind of miracle took place....still dead!!! So really I got about three hours out of the unit for around a hundred bucks. What a joke!!!
