Plane spotting at Tampa International Airport (KTPA) in October 1996.

My first flight as a passenger into TPA (from DTW) was when I was 17. That was in April 1985. It was with Northwest Airlines on a 727-200.

Ah! I rode the Northwest 727-200 from TPA to ORD in 1985 on the way to Navy boot camp!

@@keenbug Holy Cow! ~ I flew on a Southwest Airlines 737-300 or 400 from Detroit to Denver then on to San Diego in June of 1986. That's where I did my basic training for the Navy. I became an Aviation Electronic's Technician. I was stationed at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach. I was also deployed on a total of 3 aircraft carriers during my enlistment: Coral Sea CV-43, Saratoga CV-60, and Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71.

@@AKMaxFlightsTravel I only have them on my fsx the biggest plane I flown on in 2010 going to Chicago was a United 757-200 I got lost in O'Hare trying to find my next flight to Milwaukee

I can't believe the "Globe" livery that United inherited from Continental has been around this long! When I think of Continental, I always think of The Meatball. Always.
