Hello! Are the recipes for these written down anywhere? I can't seem to find them and really want to make them! Thank you! P.S. - I LOOOOOVE Rick Martinez! Rick if you read this, you can come to Naples, Florida anytime and I'll cook for you my friend! :)
I need a chili guide where you go to the market, get all the chili varieties you can get and then explain the differences and typical uses and why to pick one kind over another for a specific profile/goal
My family doesn't drink at all, but my kids and I had so much fun figuring out what to switch out for the alcohol in numbers 1& 3. We figure peach or apricot juice instead of the bourbon and maybe apple or even mango juice for the mescal. So cool! And thank you, Rick, for the straight mocktail! We can definitely use more of those!
These videos of Rick are so much better than the Food Network ones: the music, the shots of Mexico, the editing. Also, RIck seems so much more at ease and like he can be himself.
Salt in the coconut? I would have never thought of that! And I totally appreciate the idea of letting the market dictate what you make ~ in so many ways that's so much easier than searching around. Finally, I love hibiscus but I had no idea how to use it in a cocktail until now so thanks Rick! Excellent video.
These all look great! Rick, I would love to see more traditional Mexican dishes. Especially the dishes that are not as embraced in the United States, such as lengua, menudo, tripa, etc. Indigenous-centric/inspired cuisines would be great as well. Sprinkling in episodes that have the Mi Cocina/Pruébalo format would also be much appreciated. Your passion for Mexican culture and gastronomy is truly inspiring!
I would love a recipe for a chili ice cream or gelato… I’ve recently discovered the immense pleasure of good quality vanilla ice cream with Sichuan chili crisp, and am sure you could come up with a to-die-for spicy frozen-treat recipe! 😍
You put up this video right when I was looking for a drink to add the final touch to a dinner I'm making for a friend tonight! On point as always, Rick 💜
I feel like this episode was made for me! I love hibiscus gimlets or palomas in the summer, so I'm definitely going to be taking inspo from these cocktails.
That rusty skillet - all my stuff has been in storage for 5 years in Florida and pretty soon I'll be able to move into my own place. My cast iron is going to need help! These drinks look yum.
I love bourbon old fashioned cocktails (bitters, orange peel, you know the one.) But I would ALSO love to see what you do with a Sweet Heat Bourbon Old Fashioned.
I would love to know how to revive a cast iron skillet! Also, can't help to think about if the Airbnb host saw the new improvised use of their knife block!
Food 52 Rick is so much cooler than Food Network Rick. I understand that the differences are reflective of the respective platforms. Both Ricks are are learned and perfectly able to teach an incredible amount in a short video. Food52 Rick is just more fun!!!
So if we wanted to make the first recipe and didn't have fresh coconut water with coconut meat available to us... should we use coconut milk? Coconut water? a mix of both?
I know the classic breakfast when people think of Mexican food is huevos rancheros, but are there other breakfast from Mexico that need to be discovered and enjoyed everywhere?
Hey I know this is off-topic, but SortedFood just reviewed a prawn shell peeler/de-veiner that worked and I IMMEDIATELY was like omg I wonder if Rick would want this 😅
Long-time Rick Martinez fan and all of these drink recipes seriously knock it out of the park. I’m excited to try the coconut drink. That being said, Rick didn’t have to refer to aguas frescas as “spa waters.” I know to some extent it’s about reaching a wider audience, but this inevitably ends up perpetuating cultural erasure through the “reinvention” of our cultural foods and beverages. While these recipes hit, the “spa water” reference was a complete miss.

The “Archer” margarita is without a doubt my favorite summer cocktail.

I don't drink so I'm always looking for more mocktail choices that are not too sweet. Thanks for yours!

You had me until you added beer into the last drink. Ick, I just cannot handle the taste of it myself. What would you recommend using instead of beer?
Cool vid but sooooo many ads 😟
