    This pressure cook cleaning tip was a game changer. Even though I had been steaming for 20 mins with lemon after most meals, adding bicarb and pressure cooking really cleaned the guard rail around the element. This channel is the best UK/metric Ninja resource out there and the only one I need. Wonderful presentation, using familiar ingredients and measurements. Look forward to every new video and often go back through the archive for ideas and tips, notebook in hand.

    Love this video as this is one of the reasons why I don’t use my machines! I don’t fancy the clean. This looks easy to do! I do the same with oven combi microwave and I use vinegar too. Thanks for help with valve cover. Couldnt get it off on cosori. I think I need more muscle!

    Lemon is acid and bicarb is alkaline, so if you mix them they neutralise each other and turn into water and a salt. I seem to remember this is simple chemistry. So how does it clean?

    Thanks for this going to do mine tomorrow. I also wash the silicone seal and I always put it back while it’s still warm it’s still a bit flexible. You’re right about the cap you just give a good tug and it clicks back on after cleaning. Just to add I’ve seen some reviews saying about rust, I’m guessing they’re not leaving the lid open to thoroughly dry. Glad you mentioned that

    Hi, love your videos. How do you clean the Ninja 10 in 1 multifunction oven ?

    • @inthekitchenwithpenn1
      @inthekitchenwithpenn1  11 месяцев назад

      @barbaracaygill3317,when cooking is finished I leave the oven open to save anything baking on.
      I wipe the oven down with a damp soapy cloth after every use even things that don't splash .
      If its something that could splash or I notice anything I remove the racks and bottom tray.
      Spray the over with Fairy Power Wash, leave for a few minutes and wipe off using a clean cloth or silicone scourer on harder to clean bits.
      The racks and bottom tray are sprayed and wiped too ..
      After I've done that if needed I'll repeat the process

      @@inthekitchenwithpenn1 that should be the link for amazon steam cleaner, I can’t see why it wouldn’t work, it’s your idea that made me think of it! Thanks ☺️ it says it’s an oven cleaner too with attachments. I think it would work well after doing what you did but saves trying to wipe in between the heating element. I have a ninja toaster oven that is very hard to get clean so maybe the steam cleaner would work better on that as I’ve tried everything else.

    This made little dots of the coating peel off the pot, and Ninja win't replace under warranty. What's worse, I can't even get a replacement. This has been several weeks now.

    • @inthekitchenwithpenn1
      @inthekitchenwithpenn1  15 дней назад

      @rinklestiltskin I would suggest there waa an issue with your pot to start . I do this regularly as do others without that happening

    • @rinklestiltskin
      @rinklestiltskin 15 дней назад

      @@inthekitchenwithpenn1 My thoughts as well now, but I foolishly said exactly what happened. I think that is the reason that there are no replacements-they had a bad batch. Luckily I have a halogen oven to use meanwhile and being glass that is easy to keep clean. I have used white vinegar and water in that successfully.
