Brian Roger and John were beautiful human beings and such good friends to Freddie....they surrounded him and protected him. They were completely gutted by finding out how sick he was, but they couldn't show that to him.
I think everyone who knew Freddie best made a decision to treat Freddie as normal as possible. Mary Austin even said that Freddie would get mad if anyone became emotional around him. So I'm glad the one who loved him were there for him during his last days.
Freddie Mercury was a musical genius and artist. His voice was the best in the history of Rock and he remains as one of the most influential and relevant legends. Freddie Mercury Forever ❤
My respect and admiration for the three surviving members of Queen grew when I found out how much they stood by Freddie's side when he needed it the most.
We still miss you Freddie. No words can completely explain how much you were loved by your fans. Listen to your beautiful recorded performances all the time.
Only now as an adult I am beginning to appreciate everything Freddie stood for as an artist. I was very young when he passed away so I didn't comprehend the magnitude of his talent. Now I do comprehend his talent. And he's up there with the greats. The likes of Michael Jackson, George Michael, Elton John and David Bowie. I would love to have seen a duet between him and George Michael. That would have been something.
This video should be titled "Freddie Mercury's truest and best friends forever". QUEEN did Freddie proud. The tributes, confidentiality, protecting his legacy, the movie, (Rami Malek was soulful, thoughtful, and a magnificent choice to portray Freddie Mercury.). Sing with the angels Freddie. Rest peacefully. Your bandmates got your back, here.
I have been in love with Freddie since the 70's. I am very vocal about his magnificent abitities. Best rock legend ever. However, the longer he's gone the more people make him to be saintly, which he wasn't. Part of his attraction was how he went out there and didn't give a sh*t about opinions of him. Remember that back in the 70's and 80's his antics off stage rivaled his off stage antics. Nobody and I mean NOBODY said he was an angel. Even Jim Hutton (in an interview) alluded to the fact that Freddie was still promiscuous during their relationship. Many of his lovers left because he was unfaithful, they couldn't deal with Freddie as he was. This is also stated several times in interviews. David Wig was a close friend and states this after Freddies death. He was also impatient and threw temper tantrums in Queen's early days. Watch some videos and read some interview to substantiate my words. With that said we don't need to idolize him as a saint. We need to keep his legacy alive by acknowleding the fact that he was generous, feeling, caring, and lived how he wanted. Let's celebrate the magical man.
We still have this wonderful man in our lives, Freddie’s music and of course Queen’s simply stunning music lives on and on and because they were the champions!! God bless you all!!
Its funny and yet sad that Freddie had to encourage Roger to grab his neck and shake him as maybe Roger was afraid to hurt him...that Freddie is such a trooper!
Hadn't thought of that but yes. My thought was that, towards the end of his life, Michael Jackson looked more and more like Freddie's character in that video.
Who wouldn’t have loved to had the talent to sing like him, but then, if we all could we wouldn’t be appreciated , when I try to sing I sound like a dying a animal
¡¡¡¡GRACIAS!!!! ES HERMOSO ÉSTE VIDEO, NO LES ENTIENDO NADA LO QUE HABLAN😁SOLO PALABRAS SUELTAS PERO....BUENO....CON VERLOS ESTA BIEN!!!!!CREI QUE PASARIAN TODO EL VIDEO, DE DICHO TEMA...¿ NO PUEDEN ? HACERLO ????GRACIAS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lojane Bacalso not sure.... I know he retired in 1997.... Freddie's death affected him so much that he couldn't do it anymore without him. Freddie's death affected all three of them, but John more so.
You're welcome. John was painfully shy and Freddie, himself being painfully shy, understood. John hasn't granted interviews or anything. From what I heard, he was in a severe depression after Freddie died.
HA HA! THE POOR MAN IS DYING OF AIDS RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, BUT HE CAN'T LET GO OF TELLING HIS BANDMATES WHAT TO DO AND HOW TO DO IT! WHY PAY SOMEONE TO DIRECT THE VIDEO WHEN FREDDIE IS GOING TO TELL EVERYBODY WHAT TO DO!
LISTEN, FELLOW QUEEN FANS--MAKE NO MISTAKE--THE OTHER THREE GUYS WERE FREDDY'S BACK UP BOYS. I KNOW THEY WERE TECHNICALLY EQUAL. BUT FREDD, LIKE MOST LEAD SINGERS, WANTED ALL THE ATTENTION. AND HE WANTED THINGS DONE HIS WAY. AFTER THEY STARTED MAKING MONEY, I THINK BRIAN, ESPECIALLY, JUST GAVE UO AND WENT ALONG. THEY GOT AS MUCH ATTENTION AS THEY COULD BUT THEY JUST WENT ALONG WITH THE "FREDDIE MERCURY SHOW"! IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE ALL THEIR SOLO EFFORTS WERE DISASTROUS COMPARED TO WHAT THEY ACCOMPLISHED WITH QUEEN. BUT TRUST ME, IF FREDDIE HAD REALLY THOUGHT HE COULD MAKE IT ALONE LIKE MICHAEL WITHOUT THE JACKSON 5 AND DIANA WITHOUT THE SUPREMES--HE WOULD HAVE DIED ALONE. DAMN! THAT'S SO SAD TO SAY BUT I BELIEVE IT'S TRUE.
Freddie was a beautiful human being
peopleonstreets1 I love him

My respect really grew when I found out just much they cared and loved him. True friends.

Freddie era cómo un niño aún enfermó se mantuvo dentro de lo que cabe con buena actitud era hermoso y único

Poor Brian at 4:51 looks upwards.... towards the sky... teary eyed. 🥺

Felt like crying when Roger announced the celebration of Freddie's life... "You're all welcome...please join us"

Elton John is Alive still
He recently made a new song with lady Gaga
@@ym2047 I referenced Elton John in the context that Freddy was as talented and legendary as Sir Elton. I am well aware that he's alive and well.

It's amazing to see the work ethic in Freddie even as he was actively dying from AIDS. God Bless Freddie Mercury
We love you Freddie!!! Thank you for the music and everything you did with your music. We miss you so much!!!! RIP. #Legend
Its funny and yet sad that Freddie had to encourage Roger to grab his neck and shake him as maybe Roger was afraid to hurt him...that Freddie is such a trooper!
I went to that tribute concert in April 1992 and I save Freddie’s last ever queen concert in August 1986

Hadn't thought of that but yes.
My thought was that, towards the end of his life, Michael Jackson looked more and more like Freddie's character in that video.
Brain make me cry.
Brian’s nails in the video he uses to play his guitar are the same he wore to freddies birthday party when he cNe as a witch
Who wouldn’t have loved to had the talent to sing like him, but then, if we all could we wouldn’t be appreciated , when I try to sing I sound like a dying a animal
Freddie Mercury, maravilhoso!
