@@tubinruben115 put 2 inch spacers behind each wheel also ... will make a world of difference... way less tippy and more stable in the corners 4 inches overall dosent seem like alot but it really is ...
It's still runs but from the lift being so high, the front end is just all f'd up. Going to upgrade front end but we are remodeling our home right now so it's gonna be a while
The reason the rear u-bolts are so long it's cuz originally the flip kit they dezined was taller then they realize the back end was going to be way taller than the front I looked at the instructions that you emailed me.
@@tubinruben115 it was cool seeing another S10 with a 6in rough country lift. The folks at rough country told me it will not fit the crew cab!! but I made a video on it in a lot of crew cab owners have now done it 😁
How's the lift treating you? I've got a buddy who installed it all on his truck and the truck is just plain scary to drive on the road above 40mph.... Any problems?
No. It doesn't feel top heavy while driving but with the big tires, I can't get over 55 and you sure don't want to take a curve fast. But other than that, it is a daily driver.
Nice job, I'm trying to get a lift kit for cheap some where, I'm on disability and will be lucky to afford a used kit ( IF I'm lucky ) nice looking rig, happy trails
@@tubinruben115 man I finally wrapped mine up yesterday 🙌 mine also has a 2" body lift accompanied with keys and shackles and I was hung like hell on driver front leaf bolt. OEM had my factory bolt hitting gas tank. Ended up cutting it and sliding out in 2 sections and body mount kept parking brake line too tight and had to essentially cut to drop out slack in lines. But I'm mounting 35x12.50rx15. Did he keep his 35s ? Or back down to 33? had kit NIB for 6 months and planned and still took me three and half days alone to install.
@@tubinruben115 also I've watched and rewatched your video for few months during prep still took a hot minute. Thanks so much for putting this video together.
Damm!!! I wish my blazer just look same.!! BAD ASS god job!
Wen I contacted rc the said there's cutting can u specify what needs to be cut
Looks like u got it done at home I was hoping to do the same
can you make a more detailed video of the front suspension please?
I'll do my best to get you some more film. This is my friend's truck and he lives out of state. I'll post when I see him again.
Front needs 3 more inches to match the back and you need more offset to make the tires poke a lil ...
Yeah, we've already put the 2" lift keys in to get it up in front more.
@@tubinruben115 put 2 inch spacers behind each wheel also ... will make a world of difference... way less tippy and more stable in the corners 4 inches overall dosent seem like alot but it really is ...
Yeah, the spacers are a good idea. You don't want over 65 in that thing, gets rocky after that.
@@tubinruben115 the spacers will hold it straight up to 85 ....
Hell yeah only video I've seen just like mine 😂 S10 forever
I’m guessing I should make an account soon. Lifting my 02 Sonoma 6inches and throwing on some 33s and some other goodies
Any long term.updates on this, still own it ? Failures ?

I have a question did you flip the differential
So you got a 6 inch rc lift and you also install 2 inch keys and 2 inch shackles in the back? Around 8 inches of lift total?
Round about, yes
amazing work
I did the leveling kit on my new colorado
A shit load of work but looks amazing 👍

Thanks for the info. We just trimmed ours off.

Is your engine a V8 or v6 because my v6 didn't sound like that.
It is a V6. We had to cut the exhaust system. To get the lift in That's why it sounds that way.
That front end is straight dumped. Why it so low bruh
Because the torsion bars weren't fixed yet
Man I'm on .one now and need tips on back end
What do you need to know and maybe I can help

The lift was $1,200 the tires we're $1,400 the rims costed $700 2 inch keyless for $55 rear shackle $25 all together $3,400 and some change
But that does not include new leaf springs for the back Axel's that'll put you up around $4,200

I don't think this particular kit fits the ZR2, but you can look to be sure
What size lift ?
