You must have got a faulty peach, because mine was amazing. Sea green plus orange will give you a kind of caramel brown, although how it turns out might depend on your paper.

Hey Rae I enjoyed this video not to get you wrong, but I think that you had really high expectations for these markers. 1. These markers aren't alcohol based, so the formula they used is different and therefore will give you varied results 2. compared to even some of the cheapest alcohol markers, these are still cheap so they won't be as good as a touch five 3. For what they're worth, they got the job done and done pretty well. I think they are made more towards adult colouring book users and not full illustrations(but you do you boo) 4. The set is fairly small, and I'm not sure if Crayola sells a bigger pack, but that's probably why the colours don't blend well. it's difficult to blend with a limited range, and I think any marker company can agree on that. I can even see that you used at least a few more colours in the alcohol touch five illustration. Either way, I still thumbed up the vid, and it ultimately comes down to different opinions and there's nothing wrong with that.

I agree, I found the colours a little too kid-like. I find that other artist markers have more life-like tones and colours. Maybe these markers are just for kids, and they aren't meant for people who like to do more serious sketches. I did find it cool that they blended tho.

@eliza 207, I think it all comes down to art styles. Rae does more realistic art, and she blends and shades a lot, while Rin focuses more on a cartoony/illustrative style, where she does simple shading and not a lot of layering. Like Rae said in the video, there is a certain demographic that *will* like these markers. We all have different preferences and styles, and we may like and dislike different things, and that’s okay.
*I bought these markers they work pretty good for blending and i'll give them extra credit for the tips, But the CAP'S OH MY GOD it's such a pain to get them off*

Because she typically draws people and that’s what she’s comfortable with and wanted to do. Also looking at the colors there’s not much that they’re “right” for as they’re so ridiculously bright and don’t blend like they should.
Because you can draw anything no matter what colors you have? Why limit yourself and stick with basic colors of a human when you can make something interesting? The first drawing looks way better and abstract.

Colorless blenders aren’t to blend. It’s to kind of erase the marker. I know it sounds weird because of the name, but trust me it isn’t a colorless blender!!
I remember being in prep and every time we had markers that were hard to open someone would get hit in the face because we would have our elbows up then the lid finally came off and it would end in tears 😂
Once when I was at the craft store, I noticed a dad with his maybe 10-year-old son in the marker section, fussing over what alcohol-based blending markers the son wanted. (The main issue was that Copics were wicked expensive.) Kids are getting interested in blending markers and whatnot, and I think this Crayola set is Perfect to fulfill that demand. This set could be like the "baby's first blending marker set," if you will
As soon as I started seeing these I thought it was for this calligraphy and journaling craze and they just marketed it loosely to get the buys from regular artist to add on top of what they have.
Fun fact about David. He released an album in every music genre there is. He went from country to folk to pop to metal to rap. He did everything and the record company wanted to do him but they had already sunk so much money into him they forced him to go glam. Not because he was good or glam was good but because it wasn't. The record company knew the glam crowd didn't know music from a hole in the wall. So they dressed him up, released the album and the rest is history.
Tbh I really don’t like the color choice in that pack. I like to do pastel, whimsical drawings or vibrant, almost cartoony drawings, so this neon color choice really bothers me tbh. I’m also upset that there is no skin tones, or even something close to a skin tone, because I like to draw people. The lack of a brown, but 2 useless blenders, really annoyed me. They really didn’t even need the blender because it didn’t do anything...

Once when I was at the craft store, I noticed a dad with his maybe 10-year-old son in the marker section, fussing over what alcohol-based blending markers the son wanted. (The main issue was that Copics were wicked expensive.) Kids are getting interested in blending markers and whatnot, and I think this Crayola set is Perfect to fulfill that demand.
This set could be like the "baby's first blending marker set," if you will
You actually need to put down the colorless blender first for it to blend. THAT’S why they’re called colorless blenders! Hope this helps❤️

As soon as I started seeing these I thought it was for this calligraphy and journaling craze and they just marketed it loosely to get the buys from regular artist to add on top of what they have.
Fun fact about David. He released an album in every music genre there is. He went from country to folk to pop to metal to rap. He did everything and the record company wanted to do him but they had already sunk so much money into him they forced him to go glam. Not because he was good or glam was good but because it wasn't. The record company knew the glam crowd didn't know music from a hole in the wall. So they dressed him up, released the album and the rest is history.

Tbh I really don’t like the color choice in that pack. I like to do pastel, whimsical drawings or vibrant, almost cartoony drawings, so this neon color choice really bothers me tbh. I’m also upset that there is no skin tones, or even something close to a skin tone, because I like to draw people. The lack of a brown, but 2 useless blenders, really annoyed me. They really didn’t even need the blender because it didn’t do anything...
