Heeey Mike! In your video Struggling with Night Photography we saw how you export your photos after the two-step post-processing, but thanks a lot for the shortened version! 🙏I used to export my post-processed photos in PS after a five-step method according to an outdated tutorial video... What an idiot I was! In comparison, the version you presented is much faster, and when zoomed in to 200% the exported images are visibly sharper! I'm indescribably grateful that you always teach me something new! Keep it up! 🔥
@eeevision Hey man I trust you well, I haven't been having much trouble with my exporting from photoshop but can you possibly please help a brother out with the link to the video you talking about with the export settings. I would just like to know if I am following the correct steps for the best results. Thanks and God Bless 🙏🏻✝️ Look forward to hearing from you soon brother ! 😅
@@Its_Breydan_Official. Sup man? It was a long time ago, but I think I found it: ruclips.net/video/PnpIBO0-rpU/видео.html . As I have written before, Mike's 2 program (LR+PS) image post-processing gives the fastest and visibly sharper results when comparing two .jpg exports of the same size! I hope I could help, you should try different post-processing of the same image! God Bless you too man! 😊✝
Just to add to this, only because he mentioned it briefly, resolution doesn't matter. Resolution is only for print. It has no affect when viewing the image on a monitor.
2 vids a day? Am I looking at the wrong calendar and it's already Christmas or what? Also much thanks for this, it's really useful info! Btw Mike, the Manfrotto tripod you use, it's can't really go below like 50cm can it? Bcz I'm looking to buy one, but also thinking about the Begree GT Xpro, because it can go really low, plus you can shoot some product shots or food from fully above, as you can move around the center part. But that is more expensive. Like 1.5x as much. So yeah, can I please get a quick review on it pls? Bcz the last time I remember U talking about it was 2021 gear talk 😅 Much thanks my friend
I've now watched 7 content creators and all 7 of you have different export settings... How are we beginners supposed to know if y'all don't even seem to know what's best 😒
@@TheSpade357totally agree. For my experience vertical post 4:5 (1350x1080) or 1:1 (1080x1080), horizontal post I'm trying 1,91:1 (1080x566). 72ppi and not 240
In camera you should always use 2x3 to use the full size and capabilities of the sensor if you are taking photos, then you can resize to IGs specs in Lightroom, 4x5, 16x9, 1x1 depending the image.
quick and efficient not in the Shorts format. the good old days. thanks a lot!!
Quick, simple, no bs. Love it 👊
Mike just made this video because he's sick and tired of other people dragging out such a simple explanation video 😂 well done Brodie
Extra tip: instagram now has a setting that you can upload high quality images without a lot of compression.
how
idk, i though its only for video upload
@@zafarhashmi929 Go to Settings > Daga usage and media quality > turn on Upload at highest quality
go on settings then on seach bar, type: quality then trun on high quality@@zafarhashmi929

Great tip mate 🍺
Aye thanks for the nice and short video! Today I wondered why my pictures look like shit on IG :D Thanks mate❤
Very quick very clear ! I have a Sony A7 II, should I do the same ? 4000 pixels is that necessary ? Cheeeers!
this could have been a short but all good! hahaha❤❤
BRO, WHAT YOU DO FOR LIVING??
YOUR PHOTOS ARE AMAZING👍 😇
Very usefull 🎉 how about 4:5 Crop Photos setting?
the same, long edge 4000
cheers brotha
Why 240ppi resolution if Instagram only supports 72ppi?
One more video for the night 🙏😂
same for a7 mark 3 with long edge and 4k ??

Doesn't Instagram compress anything above 1080px?
Dude, sun is shining, got a whisky n coke, watching you tube shit, definitely having a shit one, cheers 👍
Sounds like a shit one ahha enjoy 🤙
Could you make s similar video for reels Mike!

What if the photo was shot in vertical (portrait)?
Is this setting for landscape and portrait?
I heard that instagram likes to export your photos in 2700 by 2160 resolution. Then the photos are sharper
And I read that for the bottom length is still 1080
I've now watched 7 content creators and all 7 of you have different export settings...
How are we beginners supposed to know if y'all don't even seem to know what's best 😒
Lol, exactly! 1080, 4000, short edge, long edge...etc..It's better if you just experiment yourself. These videos are useless imo.

72ppi and not 240
is there a way to get this settings on the new lightroom or just classic?
Please do the same with other platforms
2 videos in one day?!
what image ratio do you use in-camera and then if you do, what do you recrop it to in Lightroom?
In camera you should always use 2x3 to use the full size and capabilities of the sensor if you are taking photos, then you can resize to IGs specs in Lightroom, 4x5, 16x9, 1x1 depending the image.
What are the export settings when your using the new Lightroom (not Lightroom classic) ?
They are the same. If you understand what these settings are, then you'll understand how to apply them to Lightroom CC.
Is there any difference if you export a picutre in Portrait or Landscape mode?
No just make sure you change the longest edge to 3-4k px
weird I do 1080x1080 exports as Instagram does not have to compress anything at all
The only thing weird about it is you still only doing 1080x1080 like it’s 2013 😂
@@DavidStella what? I thought it's the dimension Instagram uses 😢
@@danuvip good one 😂
@@DavidStella what dimensions do they use now?
@@danuvip Instagram supports 1080x1080, 1080x1350 and 1080x608 natively for photos.
Another video? Wow😂
i swear, everyone has their own settings lmao
Not me uploading photos on instagram as a tif 😅
Nobody gonna mention the new earrings? 😅
