Compared to other crossings I’ve watched from Delos, Calico Skies, One Life, and some others, your crossing was considerably easier, yay for you guys!! I’m so stoked for the San Blas vids, and everything thereafter! I’m just stoked for you guys in general, and what new adventures lie ahead! 🥰 keep on keepin on!!! Thanks so much for sharing that experience. Transiting he canal has always been on my bucket list. Now that I have done it with you guys in the comfort of my living room. I can now say that I really don't need to do that.
Congratulations on a smooth canal passage! Look forward to seeing your next adventures!
Thank you!
Welcome to the Atlantic shores.
I sure miss that cute fuffernutter, Rigby!! She was (of course) a trouper through the canal. I hope you both are well!

This was a great one guys!
Thank you!
Well for the first time I watch transiting the Panama canal from the Pacific towards the Atlantic... guess as an European I felt more attracted to that other direction.... anyway: I will not stop following you so I can learn about the Caraïbian - fair winds!
Coming from this direction we felt it was a good way to challenge us a bit! 😂⛵️💪
11:35 that huge smile on Rigby’s face, so cool! Also wondering why everyone is standing on her bathroom? 😂
😂😂😂😂
I grew up there. If I don't go through the canal again, I'm ok. Paddled through the canal as well. Took 3 days to paddle a cayuka from the Atlantic to the Pacific. You guys hit the Chagres River? Speared and fished in there alot. San Blas was alot of fun there too. Dad grew up with the Kuna's. Had a little island they would let him stay at when he took us down. They call it barbeque island now, back then it was quiet. Sure miss the Canal Zone. Nice vid.
You paddles through?!?! Crazy!
Definitely enjoyed the San Blas Islands 🌴
@@LivinLaVidaGypsea They still have an anuual race. You can do it. 2nd leg through the Gatun lake was a killer. Thought is would never end. Good times!.
❤ Looks awesome and congratulations. I may have not seen it but what agent did y’all us. We will be planning on a canal crossing and would like to us an agent as well.
Congrats on a successful crossing! Maybe we'll see you guys in the Bahamas?!
Excited to meet and greet the flock of RUclipsrs there 😂😂😂
@@LivinLaVidaGypsea 🤣🤣 what’s your timeline for coming to the Bahamas? We’re in the Eleuthera islands now
@@adventurecrews spring 2024. Doing Guatemala for Hurricane Season and then going to TX for the holidays and to get a new anchor chain ✨✨
@@LivinLaVidaGypsea That's awesome! We may see you next spring then! Safe travels and fair winds!
Can I ask who your agent was? We are crossing this year and looking for recommendations! We can only hope we have the great experience that you did! Thank you, I’m enjoying watching your trip down the coast from Mexico!
@@DawnPatrol70 hi! Glad you found us! We aren’t posting anyone’s anymore but we’re glad that our videos are helping other fellow sailors ⚓️🤘
We used guys named Erick. I can give contact info, but it’s probably better if you email us. I don’t know his company name as we used him through the Panama Posse.
@ Perfect, thank you! We are with the Posse as well and several people have recommended him. There was one bad review, but I think there were other circumstances involved.
@@DawnPatrol70 are you guys Caribbean bound? Hope to see yall out there 🍻
@ we are going to head for the upper east coast USA this coming summer, leaving San Diego next week so its a long haul!! We spent 18 months in Mexico but it was too hot in the summer so came back north. Can’t wait to get back out there!
How common is it for a sailboat to cross from the Pacific to the Atlantic? Every other crossing I've seen has gone the opposite direction. How will sailing be heading into the Caribbean be heading the opposite direction? Will the winds make things much more difficult?
Safe Travels!
Those are great questions.
There’s plenty of people that do go
the other way. When you get into the Caribbean, it would be difficult to go straight across.
However if you take a northerly heading towards western Caribbean, than you make a big loop around over to Florida and back down.
Theres no problem. Least that’s what our plans are 😬⛵️
Gotta let the winds work for ya!
way overacting
? How does one over act crossing the Panama Canal? 🤣
@@LivinLaVidaGypsea well u would act giddy, super animated. and not your normally cool self. your normally very cool and fun to watch.
