    Been following you for a long time now, I am amazed your channel is not bigger than it is now, the builds you do are absolutely pristine!

    I really love the dedication and innovation you do, at this point it feels like a high end watch brand, maybe you should look at black polish for the screws and blue them by heat treatment

    Love how it looks, but these days I hate how radiators look. I see this and all I can think of is how to hidden them somehow so only the hardware is visible and perfectly beautiful.

    Looks great! I'm curious if it would not look cooler if the GPU cables ran via the front side of the GPU instead of the behind it. It would not only show off more of the awesome cable but it would also hide the PCB on the plexi block. Perhaps just a personal preference :)
    Love the build regardless.

    you converted from Trubyd44 to this channel and brand? man I loved your Trubyd44 videos back in the day... I never knew what happened to that channel, but just realizing about this.

    Wait... I think the GPU block is not connected correctly. I understand that the T-fittings split the fluid flow between CPU and GPU block, with the flow ratio following from flow resistance ratios and physical equilibrium. That's fine. But the issue is in the central jet part of the block (the part cooling the GPU core). From what I understand, input should flow through the center part of that jet area for optimal performance. Here, it flows "from the outside to the inside", reducing (theoretical) efficiency. In other words, GPU block input and output are mixed up. Edit: The EK manual doesn't seem to mention In and Out ports, still, I'd love to hear some more opinion on this topic.

    I never understood having the cpu and gpu coolant loops in parallel. Wouldn't one of the two have more flow restrictions than the other causing one to have less potential flow resulting in less cooling, or is it that the flow restriction is compensated for due to both components getting the same cooled liquid instead of it being heated up before going into the next like it would if it was a series loop?

    • @BernhardWeber-l5b
      @BernhardWeber-l5b 2 года назад +1

      Basic incompressible fluid dynamics says that the overall flow rate (as generated by the pump) is split between both possible parallel paths. The flow rate ratio follows from the flow resistance ratios, basically in analogy to the flow of electrical current. That flow rate ratio is likely not exactly 50:50, but even if it's, say, 70:30, then that 30% flow rate is still sufficient to cool a component. There's plenty of videos/experiments showing that reduced flow rates have small impact on cooling performance.

    Interesting fittings combination between CPU and GPU

    • @BernhardWeber-l5b
      @BernhardWeber-l5b 2 года назад

      If I see things correctly, the water flow is split into CPU and GPU blocks, with the split ratio being determined by the flow resistance ratios of both blocks.
