He was even asked to play Harold Hill in the revival, but unfortunately, couldn't fit it into his schedule. He said he always hated not being able to do that. I still watch this video time to time because it is so damn funny. I find it uncanny how Conan sang this before he ultimately got the chopping block from NBC. Love this!
Another fun fact - Conan claimed that he was actually offered the lead in the Music Man on Broadway after Craig Bieko left the show. He obviously couldn't' do the show and still host Late Night, so he turned it down. He said it was strange, but the producers must have known he had a strange obsession with that show (as evidence by this and the reference in the Monorail show).

This guy is so versatile! And he might say he has limited musical ability, but I disagree. He can hold a tune, make people laugh... what can this guy NOT do?
"Screeeeeeeeeewed" Is definitely shorter than I expected. The way Conan described it I imagined it going on for quite a while. I feel like I could probably hold that note.
Also, Conan is freaking awesome for doing that! It's one of my favorite renditions alongside the version Seth MacFarlane did when he was hosting the WGA Awards last year!

the members of monty python (all of them but one) are graduates of Oxford and Cambridge. A lot of funny people are very smart. I love Conan! I can't wait for him to come to LA! I can finally go watch him tape his show! =D

Here in Portugal, there's only a small part who watches Conan and knows who he is. Althought he is awesome, he hasn't the same fame as Hugh Jackman... The emmys is a North American like Show. The Oscars are a World Wide Show. But it would be awesome if he hostes it!
