    Love the older one! My P226 is the same color combo and no rail. Def one of my favorites

    We both solidly agree on that U.S. milled block of steel that the German masters don’t even manufacture in that unparalleled way !
    Stamps are fine but solid steel milled out blocks are going to lifelong fire and operate as a case hardened piece of powerfully compounded art❤

    That’s a folded slide. 220 started the stainless slides around 1997-1998. My guess is that it’s a mid to late 90s. Some of the west German marked guns were still assembled after east and west Germany united in 1990 , I have a two tone p228 with west German markings and marked 1991 because they still had a tone of the slides assembled with that w. German marking post the unification

      My dad and I bought some west German sigs off a collector years ago. And my dad ended up with a 220 with the heel mag release. It’s a early one not sure of the year on it
