I agree the Space theme has been fantastic and I didnt even think Id care about it. All of the new space technic sets I want, especially the VTOL Heavy Cargo Ship, that thing is awesome looking! Im getting really impressed with the Creator 3in1 sets! The fox is very nice and that upcoming panda set looks even better, and the price is attractive. The midiscale Millenium Falcon and Invinsible Hand have really convinced me I dont need any other line of SW ships outside of UCS sets possibly. The Barad-dur set is definitely the highlight of the year for sur and cant wait to see what they come up with for next years sets
My top 3 sets of 2024 in no particular order: Monkie Kid Celestial Pagoda: Absolutely gorgeous oriental building that I bought 2 of to stick together to make a complete pagoda, Ninjago’s Cole’s Titan Dragon Mech: Hands down the most technically advanced mech Lego has done, Icons Endurance: Just an amazing model ship build of a legendary ship.
@@Moonraker_6 Oh I cant express how excited I am for the Enterprise D. I have wanted Lego to get the Star Trek license for so many years, never thought it would ever happen so its a dream come true. Easily my most desired set of 2025
Haha Nightmare Before Christmas almost made my list but I already had 2 Ideas sets, certainly would have been in my top 11🙂I hope you have a great Christmas too
As a castle fan : BDP Mountain Fortress . Medieval town square was good too but too many stickers and no Wolfpack shield is a miss. I liked the original design of Dungeons and dragons. Lego's design not so much.
Oh the Mountain Fortress was certainly one of my favourite sets of the year but couldn't really include it as its not a retail set anyone can buy, which is a shame. Otherwise it would have run Barad Dur close. The D&D set for me is not too far off from the original concept, not as substantial as the original design but I think Lego just about got it right in terms of making it a retail set from a price point of view. I just hope we get more D&D sets one day, sadly nothing on the cards for 2025
Some great choices in there. Would agree with barad dur I think although I don’t own it yet. I might put the endurance as 1 for me. Not built it yet but it looks amazing
@ it’s on my list. Along with Rivendell. Maybe next year. Then again I’ve started to hoard my points in case this Death Star turns out to be good. Only way I can get that is if I take a serious amount out of it with points etc
@@Ultra_bricks Oh I'm exactly the same, I'm keeping all my points just in case Lego do actually nail the Death Star. No way I'm walking into a Lego store and paying the best part of £900 in cold hard cash for one single set lol also needs an amazing GWP😂
@ agree completely. I need to figure out a serious discount on that set and there needs to be a great gwp. I like the idea of a Death Star but the rumoured price is eye watering. Not much different to the AT-AT but I knocked a huge chunk off that after discounts

I will say that I probably will put the Dark Falcon in my top sets list as well. I’m about halfway through building it as we run out of time in 2024.
In terms of what I am looking forward to for Lego in 2025? Two words for you mate…Star Trek. Have a Happy New Year sir!

Oh yes that Titan Mech is outstanding and so well priced for the size of the set, hope we get another in 2025. Good selection of sets you have chosen🙂
@@TheDyslexicGeak Keeping my fingers crossed that they give us Kai’s Titan mech to round out the collection in 2025.
Did you forget about Jaws & nightmare before christmas?? Haha, all personal opinion. Have a fantastic Xmas!

Jaws 21350, Peeley Bone 77072 and The Insect Collection 21342. All are impressive and the insects are genuinely creepy, in a good way!
Good selection, the Insect set is one that has completely gone under the radar. When John Lewis have it on sale, I will buy it before it retires

Yeah the Barad Dur set is such a great set, not cheap but one Lego set I feel I got my full moneys worth.
