@@Ultra_bricks I’m not sure, I think they charge the card initially then release the money after a week or so, I haven’t pre-ordered anything for ages apart from Bricklink sets.

I’m pretty sure I have got double points with pre-orders in the past, guess will find out in a few hours🙂

Hi, I think you do get the double rewards points for pre-order. I was looking at the imperial star destroyer today and noticed where it had the GWP info under it showed double reward points amount. I then checked reward point in normal spot and the other amount was double.

It's also the 12th here so depending on time zone for you might show tomorrow if not showing today 🙂

Yeah the review really does make it sound rather rough. Kinda surprised Lego decided to select this design given its structure flaws

Ahh that’s a shame to miss out on the station but glad she got the Mushroom House as that sold out shortly after Brickcross

It’s tough with only 5 sets getting selected, so many amazing designs miss out, would be nice if Lego would spread the selections from different designers as a few have now had multiple designs picked now

I expect the Wild West train in series 4 was selected as it’s the same designer as the general store in series 1 I believe. They will go perfectly together🙂

The logging railway is not selling because its two thirds brown bridge and one third train. Plus the bridge wont fit any proper track so it cant even be used as part of a railway, its a stand. If you removed the bridge and just sold the train it would sell FAR more. The Wildwest train will sell because there is more train, you have a carriage and a freight car and it uses proper track. There is 2700 pieces in logging railway, you could have got The Emerald Night with FIVE carriages for those number of pieces, instead we get a tiny crap train on a crap useless bridge...WHAT A WASTE!

@@neilrusling-je6zo yeah it’s a very strange design choice, so many better examples of train sets Lego could have chosen but thankfully series 4 will do that, the Wild West train looks fantastic🙂

Yeah I wasn’t too fussed about the Mushroom house initially but then changed my mind after some of the reviews plus it’s not badly priced🙂

@@TheDyslexicGeak Yes, some people have to choose the less popular sets as well 😄. But I like the colorful vacationlike coastal design, a nice stand alone set 👍🏻. I have no room for Legocitybuilding so no modulars for me 😊 But I agree with you on skipping the Logging Railway and go for the Wild West Train in Series 4 instead because just like you I have already ordered the General Store in series 1 😁

@@Rob56687 if I had unlimited money I would buy al of them but the reality is I can only spend so much lol, I hope I don’t end up regretting passing on the Ocean House

@@TheDyslexicGeak Yes it is the same situation here: limited amount of money, limited space 😅. Lego is freaking expensive nowadays!

Yeah exactly, these are pretty much all safe bets to make a decent return if you wanted to sell

The station was my main priority so glad I got it. Ominous Isle I think I’m going to pass on, so many more series coming down the line

Yeah Lego have so far selected a lot of Medieval type designs, would be nice to see a good space set chosen🙂

Ahh that’s sucks the sword was missing, Lego have really good customer service so glad they are fixing that for you🙂Thsts a really nice haul, I have all the LorR Brickheadz from last year but need to get Gimli and Legolas. That Gandalf/Balrog are my favourites, especially the Balrog🙂

Yea, the Gandalf & Balrog were an unexpected surprise. I was initially going for Legolas & Gimli. But when I saw the Balrog, I thought I have to have that to go with my evil tower. 😂

Ahh I was blown away by how large the Durmstrang is, I may pick it up later this month, Aragog did look decent too. Haha I would like to keep it sealed but not sure I want to spend another £400 on another😂

Yeah if you missed the promo it’s definitely worth waiting for double points and decent GWP combo, it’s not cheap. I expect it will stay at Lego like Rivendell but Amazon occasionally have that set on offer so possibly will be the same for Barad-Dur

@@TheDyslexicGeak agree. I need to get rivendell as well. Not sure I will get them this year. Still two more big sets coming yet in the barge and the endurance that I am interested in

Woooo we'd been waiting for this one! I picked up Barad Dur too bur just online 😁

I managed to pick up Barad-dûr from the Lego House on Launch Day. I was the first in line, but a Lego employee was the first to check out 😅 They had gotten 16 sets in stock, all were signed by both Antica and Ashwin, the lead (?) designers and they had made unique drawings on each one. Great pickups!

I would have just liked something a little more inspiring than what is basically a super big version of a Speed Champions set, even changing the colour would have helped, it just feels a little lazy

Haha yeah Lego are getting good at noticing what the MOC community are doing with sets. Probably why they selected a botanical greenhouse Ideas set after people where buying the Friends set to MOC🙂

Yeah the white is tricky but as long as it’s out of the sun and away from a window it should be ok. Just would have been nice in red or yellow, it’s why I haven’t bought the Porsche

It’s not too bad but the Countach is an awkward looking car🙂

I really would like the Land Rover, keep an eye on John Lewis, they often have it on sale and it looks really good🙂
