Oh I'm very much looking forward to Tudor Corner, so glad modulars are back to being released on New years Day once again, felt strange having it release last December

Ahh that's sounds great, very similar to what I have done. I experimented having a full Lego City table earlier this year but it took up way too much space in my Lego room so have all my modulars on a shelf now. I cant wait for Tudor Corner in January🙂

Ahh they are great sets, one of my favourite lines that Lego do. Only problem is once you buy and build your first one, you end up wanting them all😂

Yeah Argos and John Lewis are easily the best shops when it comes to Lego sale, Smyths used to be good a few years ago but not so much now. Ahh saw that price on the McLaren, is was very tempted but couldn't quite stretch to it, chances are it will be on sale again next year🤞

Ahh that's a shame, yeah this is one UCS set I have been saving up for all year, wasn't sure if it would go on sale again like it did in the Spring. If it hadn't, no chance I would have bought it

Yeah certainly a good incentive to buy it on release, especially with the Lifeboat GWP

Pretty much a let down world wide, thankfully in the UK other retailer's had some cracking deals. Not sure why Lego bother every year lol

@@TheDyslexicGeak Yeah I know the feeling. I picked up the The Endurance and GWP's which was good. Otherwise just missed out on 40% off set 75257 Millennium Falcon. Other retailers had one or two 50% off deals but they are limited to what they sell.

Yeah the Lego sale was once again very poor. Definitely a good decision to wait for Tudor Corner, January looks mega packed for new sets

If you’re waiting on half off on the Endurance, you won’t be getting it. The Endurance is going to sell incredibly well, promo or no, for its entire run. It’s an incredible set and the price, given what Lego is selling new sets for these days, isn’t that bad for what you get.

@ to be fair I doubt it goes on that much of a sale. But it will be 20% at least later. And personally I am ok with given I have other good sets to make right now. The sales around Black Friday were crazy.

Yeah its annoying for anyone not buying the Endurance on release, Shackleton should have been included in the Endurance set. Will certainly put people off in the future I would have thought

Yes it certainly has been well received just looks so fresh and a nice shake up for the Modular building series, looks like Lego have taken things on board

@ yeh I may buckle and get one release day. Need to see what the story with the GWP is. The moving truck seemed to show up repeatedly for anything. I can’t remember what museum gift was?

Yes does certainly make a nice change with the promo being available at launch. Certainly does look like a good bang for buck set that's for sure, but I find modulars generally are pretty decent value

Oh yes the promo designed to go with it is going to be available at the same time, makes a nice change as in the years past, the promo has always been a few months after release

Yeah I definitely feel the same as you, other brick companies have been doing some very interesting designs recently so I'm glad to see Lego have responded by doing a design that feels bold and fresh. This looks like the best effort in years.

It really does look a fresh, bold design with this one and it looks just amazing

I'm happy modulars are being released on 1st January again, in the past I have always spent my Christmas money on the newest modular but of course that was slightly interrupted with the History Museum releasing in December last year. Cannot wait for this one🙂

Ahh now that's the question, as Smyths had the Natural History Museum last year, could be a good sign John Lewis get this one but you never know but my gut feeling is it will be John Lewis, if so look forward to a nice discount later next year😂

@ I mean it looks bloody fantastic. It’s not even that expensive. I don’t live that near to a Lego shop but may have to go to Milton Keynes or London to get this on the 1st.

Oh it was quite shocking, even by Lego's Black Friday sale standard, basically just clearing out stuff they cant sell. Argos had a much better sale. I don't know why Lego hype it up so much, its always a big let down after the Insiders Event

@@TheDyslexicGeak yes it’s one I’m very excited about. Also got the captain America shield at half price. Mixed feelings on it. Build looks horrible but end result next to the Thor hammer might be nice. Will have to see if I build it or not. Half price was a good deal though
