    Hi JJ,
    I suggest you buy FlySky FS-GT3B (it comes with GR3E receiver) + another GR3E receiver for about 8$. 1st receiver should be installed nikko rc car, and 2nd receiver should be installed to Nissan Silvia s15. Then you should bind each one to FlySky FS-GT3B remote conrol. Please watch my other video "FlySky FS-GT3B radio control & GR3E receiver how to video tutorial. " to understand what binding is and how to do it. BUT, since I don't know your systems, before you buy, open your car and see if the plugs are compatible with the GR3E receiver. If you really insist on flat remote controll then you will have to find a different remote-receiver set. But the idea of how to connect the receiver should be similiar. Please update me. Good luck!

    Great video! I have a question I hope you can answer: I purchased an RC truck for my son for Xmas (since I can't insert URLs, search on Amazon for "TOZO C2031 RC CARS High Speed 30MPH"). Well the transmitter has broken and I need to purchase a new one. I'm not sure which one to get. We purchased a replacement on Amazon ("Himoto 1:18 2.4Ghz 2Ch Transmitter for E18 Series") which doesn't work with the RC car, and I'm not sure why. So I'm not sure what to get. Do you have any suggestions?

    I am not familiar with lego racers, but if you don't have a remote control, then you must buy a new set of receiver and remote control. Look at my other video "FlySky FS-GT3B radio control & GR3E receiver how to video tutorial". It shows a good and cheep (about 54$) set and its functions. In my other video "Traxxas Slash Platinum 6804R..." I demonstrate how to assemble the receiver. It might fit your needs. good luck

    I've got the same transmitter and trying to use it on an SCX10 with a taser 60 amp brushed speed control. I've got the exponential's set to +100% and the throttle is still way too touchy and sensitive. -100% makes it go full throttle immediately. I need the throttle to be softer at the lower range of trigger movement

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  5 лет назад

      Hi, you need to set the Expo to -100% (minus). If you also want to limit the maximum speed, then set the EPA to a lower value. The figure at 5:31 might be of help to you.

    • @brsrc759
      @brsrc759 5 лет назад

      @@eyal-carmi if I put it to -100% it just goes full-throttle immediately even if you barely touch the throttle. +100% is a little better but still way too touchy

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  8 лет назад

      +ArrmaTube23
      Hi, I believe NP-ADJ is Neutral position adjustment. What it means for example with the throttle channel is at what position you define the trigger to cause the motor not to move. It can be defined in the servo channel as well. this name sounds to me the same meaning as the trim function (look at this video about the trim function).

    Hi i have a question my rc haves a WP 1040 BRUSHED ESC that uses 40A for continuous discharge and 180A for burst current, what happens if I install a Lipo battery with higher stats than that? the ESC will work with the same current and the battery will last more or the ESC will not handle that current?

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  8 лет назад

      This is a very good question. In motors, current gets higher when the Counter- torque that is applied on the wheels gets higher (like if you drive the car on deep sand instead of a road). The motor burst current in my opinion would get higher, but the continues current would not In normal conditions (in normal conditions I mean what ground the car should drive on, what its nominal weight it should carry and for how long) because current tends to set to its stable value after few moments. If your thinking is to gain more time on one battery, then - and this is my opinion - you should limit the maximum EPA of the throttle and this is a trial and error. I would also put a fan on the motor and ESC to cool it, because the only and BIG problem with over current is heating.
      This is not something I would do without asking the manufacturer first. It really depends if the ESC has a protecting circuit that limits the current or cuts it off in case of over current. I don't know if anybody can answer that question except the manufacturer that made this ESC. I would advice you to write the manufacturer and follow his directions.

      +Eyal C Thanks man I wanted a reaffirmation of what other ppl told me in a forum and they told me that "it will not give to the Electronics more than what they ask for" I guess I will try to ask that to the manufacturer just to be sure.

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  10 лет назад

      If I understand you correctly, do you mean you wish to control 2 R/C cars simultaneously with the same remote controller ?

    • @wmchen71
      @wmchen71 10 лет назад

      ok let's say i put the two car side by side and turn on, channel 1(buggy) channel 2 (car). when i select which channel 1 only the buggy go. What i got is that the two of them go when i select channel 1. Is there anyway to prevent both go just the channel that selected?

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  10 лет назад

      Sorry, I am still confused about what you aim for. I don't know of a way you can bind a channel to car x and the other channel to car y, because binding includes all the channels together. If you want the same remote controller to control each car separately (but not simultaneously, i.e, you must turn off all other binded receivers except the one you wish to control), look at my other video "R/C Car Radio-Control Basics" at chapter "binding receiver to controller" to understand how binding works in the FlySky remote controller-receiver set. Then look at this current video at chapter "Model Naming" to understand how to attach the settings and the binding of the current receiver to a model number. Then look at the current video at chapter "Binding the receiver to the radio-controller" to understand how to bind the receiver to the controller. Because the radio controller has only 1 unique ID (not the receiver), all the receivers you bind will react to the remote controller the same way-that is why you have 10 model numbers, so you can adjust your own settings for each of your binded receivers (but as far as I remember all 10 model numbers work on any of the remote controller-receiver bindings because they share the same and solely remote controller ID) . I haven't looked deep into that, so please correct me if I am mistaken.

    • @wmchen71
      @wmchen71 10 лет назад

      Thank for the further explanation, understand now. What i'm trying to do is to control 2 cars(one at a time) with one remote control at a switch of the channel (like having 2 remote control in one).

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  7 лет назад

      Hi, sorry for late reply. Regarding the second thing you mentioned, this sounds as if you did not set the fail-safe function. Some of remote control - receiver have this function, some don't. Look at this video 10:45. About your disconnections - it could be one of many things. For example, it might be an electric disconnection in the car or remote control. It could also be that the distance between the remote control and receiver is too long.

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  8 лет назад

      +enigmacstrike
      Hi,
      Sorry for the delay. I can’t really tell. Are all the
      electronics on one integrated circuit ? if so, the problem is that you can’t just
      replace the receiver, because you cannot separate the receiver and the ESC
      (Electronic Speed Controller). Since it is a vintage RC car and there are no separate
      modules, the servo and motor might have nonstandard voltage input and maybe the
      signal transmission from the receiver to the servo might be also nonstandard. I
      haven’t done this myself, but as I see it, if you want to do it you will have
      to have some knowledge in electricity / electronics to detect what voltage and maximum
      current the servo uses and what voltage and maximum current the motor uses. Then
      you may be able to tell if the flysky receiver voltage output and current can
      fit the servo. Most receivers today send 4.6 - 6 volts (including the Flysky I believe
      - but please check with the product specifications or contact the company). Afterwards
      you will need to find appropriate ESC for your motor and make sure it fits the
      receiver specs (most likely it will, but again look at the specifications of
      both to make sure they fit) . Then you
      will need to cut the wires from the servo and motor from the old electronic
      circuit and replace that old circuit with the new receiver and ESC and new
      battery appropriate for the new system. You will also have to make appropriate terminal
      connections so everything connects appropriately physically and electrically. This
      is at your own risk off course. This is a trial and error and may damage your
      car. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

    • @enigmacstrike
      @enigmacstrike 8 лет назад

      +Eyal C No problem :D
      My idea its just to replace the old circuit with a new transmitter and receiver and make the appropiate wiring connections for the battery, servo and motor as you said. i actually have tested the old circuit with 9.6(1.2x8AA ) and 12v(1.5x8AA batteries) and it works fine and the current its is arround 7 to 10 A. So please clear my head do i need an ESC? the ESC just amplifies the power from the receiver or am i wrong?

    • @eyal-carmi
      @eyal-carmi  8 лет назад

      +enigmacstrike
      You need to check the voltage and current on the motor itself. Is that the measurement you did ?
      If so, then you know the voltage and current the motor can work with. You need to find a suitable ESC for the motor. ESC is not exactly an amplifier of the receiver command. It does get PWM commands from the receiver and delivers PWM power to the motor, but those signals are not the same. Also, It most often has battery eliminator circuit ( BEC) to regulate the voltage to the receiver. It also it most often has a battery voltage protection to limit LIPO batteries to disconnect if low voltage threshold is reached. You can read more about it ESC here:
      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_speed_control
      you should also pay attention that your car got batteries that drain pretty fast. What i mean is that the motor probably wasn't meant to work for a long time continuously (a lot of heat is accumulated). If you change the battery to a high capacity one, you will have more time, but more heat which could kill your motor. Take that into consideration as well.
