- This one was super fun to write! I think I sort of wrote it as a reminder to myself that I'm tough and that it's worth it to stick up for myself, even if it steps on someone's toes for a moment.
I guess it's a reminder to myself that I can be sharp and pointy when I need to be!
While I don't ever want to be mean to people, it sometimes bothers me when people who think they know me say things like "oh Brenna won't do that" or "Brenna is so nice, she just wants everyone to like her." It bugs me when people take advantage of my nice attitude or reluctance to fire back and they walk all over me.
Well...I'm done with that.
I won't let you double cross me, cat call me, backhandedly "compliment" me, or make me feel small.

I really enjoyed that! I’m in the same boat, people taking advantage of your kind heart. And deep inside you have a no nonsense standard, that people often don’t realize is even there. It’s like I’m nice till you push the wrong button, then I’m mean and I’m not afraid to say or do whatever but not putting up with it! Do you notice that people seem to take little things a lot harder than they would from someone else? Not sure if it’s just because they don’t expect it🤷♀️
