Thanks man! If you haven’t already purchased one I recommend. burgertuning.com/collections/subaru/products/subaru-wrx-intake?rfsn=6842842.db266a sold my ets intake after a few months for a intake that made more power
I just installed this and thought I was missing a 12mm bolt that videos state to screw in the black intake tube/pipe. It was frantic during install trying to find a spare one. Finally figured out that new version comes with a rubber insulator instead (black rubber piece with 2 studs coming out of it). You screw that in by hand and then put on the pipe, and then the nut on it from hardware bag. Hope this helps someone.

Got mine on the way.. gonna install this and the JB4 TUNER. I ordered the intake with out the box. Was wondering if it's that big of a difference with or without it. Also did you put the black intake vent back? The piece that forces air from under the hood into the area of the intake?
@@DylanCarGuy Thanks! Also is it possible to install this without opening up the bottom of the car? Don't have a nice even ground surface or space to work on at the moment
@@Megaomen12 it would be a little bit more annoying, but 100% yes. If you need more hand room you could remove the radiator fan and you'd have plenty of room to work
2022 and still my fav Video
The sound will come I installed this after a 10 hour work day. I didn't want to bother my neighbors at night.
Now we need the box install!!!
The box you just add a bracket to bolt to the left drop it on top 3 bolts done
I'll do a video when I get home of how it looks it's super clean. I carpooled with my wife today, but I'll get the content out soon
This was a great fuc$ing video. Great job man!

Just wow ♥♥💕
Can’t wait for that sound and performance review. I was waiting to see it before I purchased the intake but I said screw it and ordered it anyways
Hopefully you used the 5% discount! It's coming soon sorry, my wife wanted to carpool today since it was raining. Should be driving tomorrow again!

Good install vid, straight too the point!
It has come to my attention that a bolt may go in place of the Allen key.
Do you need to tune after this install?
Check out my stock ETS intake data log AFR looks amazing, so I would say no!
Is this recommended for a cvt?
burgertuning.com/collections/subaru/products/subaru-wrx-intake?rfsn=6842842.db266a this one is better
What’s the difference between the two and is it ok to install on a cvt?
I initially went with ETS later sold it picked up over 20whp with the upgrade!
@@johncolossians3104 there's no velocity stack, so the ECU recognizes the extra air and supplements more fuel. More air more fuel more power
@@DylanCarGuy ok thanks does Cobb and jb4 will come out an access port for cvt?

Cover box is a MUST. otherwise it's a hot air intake, and worse than stock.
Cover is a must!! It is keeping it cold air and yes you want to put the intake vent back in
Which ramps are you using? Also thanks for the install guide! Cant wait to hear the noises
Rhino ramps cheap on Amazon!
