CEO of weighted dip! I would compare The streetlifting dip to powerlifting comp bench as to "oldschool" upright dips to bench press with flat back and no leg drive. What do you think about that?
I have trouble keeping the protraction and depression through the movemenet, I do them before starting the Dip and then the moment I start to go down I go back to my shitty form lose them
Perfectly explained. I always find protraction to be a little easier than depression, and during my last 2-3 reps, i lose depression(especially at the bottom range of motion) and it causes me collarbone pain.
Hi I just wanted to ask what I should do since I fractured my sternum doing a weighted dip the wrong way a few weeks ago. I can do muscle ups and a few body weight dips but I wanted to ask when I should started my weighted dips again. I feel a little pain during pushing movements. Have you come across anyone wth a sternum injury before? Great vid brother!
Yo Micha I know it's not super impressive but I'm peaking right now, trying to hit 150 lbs weighted dips for five reps at 150lb bodyweight. I'm in my third week out of five and super confident I'll get it!
If there were a most precise one, i would delete the others. Tools don’t free you from thinking, take some test with the calculators for different lifts and then find out in training which works best for you/for a certain lift 🙏
Hey, Im currently doing 3x4 on weighted dips and theres something I noticed. Sometimes on the last rep I lose shoulder depression a bit when it's time to push back up. I also font know if abs should stay crunched and "de crunch" slightly while going up? Or do you arch the back a little bit and once you finish the rep you go back to having a very tight core? Any tips on these things pleaee

I cannot help with pains in the comments section, it’s always a pretty complex thing to deal with :/
@@MichaSchulz ok fine np but do you think it could do with weak upper back, it's been a while since I've done rows or deadlifts
