I hear a LOT of RUclipsrs say that whatever tip or trick they're going to show you will "LEVEL UP YOUR PLAYING," but in all that time, this is the first one that actually did.
I mean the change is immediate, and all the people in my music group here at the old folks' home noticed it right off. Plus, once you get the concept, you just naturally want to move it around all over.
This video should be required viewing for all intermediate guitar arteests.
    Thank you very much! 🎸🤘

Finally, someone who can answer questions with demonstrations, not opinions. All the musical terms that most people struggle with arent important if you have the feel,
and ability to play. Some people are natural musicians.Example....my father taught himself the harmonica to help keep warm in the crows nest on ship.He could triple tongue, playimg the melody, and rythym at the same time.I never in my life, except once have heard a harmonica played as well as my father. He insisted he picked it up at mess hall, and as soon as he picked it up,he somehow knew how to play it

Music is so simple. Fortunately, there's people like you to show it and make it even more simple.
I knew all there voicings and did practiced them, still never thought to use them that way, always looking for more complex settings. Thank you very much I will start the new year able to play blues and solo at the same time while sounding on track.
For the rest of the year I will try to apply this logic to other genres. Meaning always keeping the actual current chord ready to sing if needed.
Happy new year from Marseille, France!

My head already is shaped like a guitar. If I comb six hairs straight down and then open my mouth wide in a big circle, it's truly a guitar face. And then, of course, I make da-da-da sounds following the Am pentatonic scale while focusing on A-D-E chord tones. I truly does work.

This one really answers an issue I had, being non-advanced. Knowing pentatonic scales I practice them which hardly sounds musical, even when selecting various notes, not just up&down. What is missing are chords to include and weave a tissue with micro-solo fills. And real, complete chords hardly fit, are awkward in this context. Chords stripped down to just basic essentials are what I was missing to make simple jamming along pentatonic scales sound like resembling music. Thank you! Thumb up and the subscribe button deployed.

Interesting. I see that you played the E7 chord without changing position. As I'm intermediate, probably would have slid my hand up to play the E7 chord at the 7th fret. By keeping all the chords in the "home position", should make it easier to talk about hitting the notes for the chords as they change. Great video Eddie!
