- Turns out the road we took to get to this area was not a sanctioned roadway by the National Forest...We ended up meeting a National Forest Police officer that advised us of our wrong doings and ticketed us for it.....whoops.
But check out how beautiful this lake camp was, it was ALMOST worth the cost of the ticket we each got. But hey, live and learn. The Ford Bronco held up well throughout our trip and this is the final campsite of our trip. It was one for the record books and we even hung out with some cows that were grazing the area.

So the cows can graze there and tear up the grass but if you drive on the grass you guy’s get slammed with a hefty fine? Makes a lot of sense…… Sounds like a “Forest Hall Monitor” if you ask me🤣
They destroyed the land where we left no trace. We tried explaining that, he was having none of it

We found out the expensive way from a forest Ranger that driving anywhere off a trail gets you a ticket! And we only have 1 tent because sharing is caring!
