I’ve seen it called many things, a frog is not one of them, that’s a first. I called around to all the local new holland dealers today, none of them were any help
It's called a plow bottom. Finding an exact match may be tough. It may be easier to find one with corresponding holes and update both bottoms at the same time. You may be able to find similar plow bottoms that do not have holes predrilled. We had to do that for a three bottom John Deere years ago. You might have to go to an agricultural implement dealer and find the oldest parts man and pick his brain.
The internet is a great thing, except when it comes to finding parts for an implement that’s twice as old as I am. You’re right I need that old timer behind the parts counter
If you know where I can get that part...please leave a comment, I looked all over the internet and was unable to find a direct replacement.
Having fun with the boy. Good day. Having it start raining when you finish have free time. Got to love our WNY weather.
If you don’t like the weather now, just wait 2 hours.
Cool to see the little guy out there learning at an early age!
He’s my little side kick. Hes gunna know more by the age of 10 than most grown men know by 40, I guarantee it.
You are a good welder pound it back together and weld it back together with hard surface rod.
The more and more I look for a replacement part, the more and more a torch and welder seem to be my only option
hi there well i think the part they bolt to is called a frog , any ford tractor dealer should have the parts . best to all john

TSC take your part they can help or any farm store.
I find that the help at TSC has become quite useless in the past couple years. If they can’t point to it on a shelf, they don’t know anything about it
How much rain would you say you get from a storm like that?
I didn’t have a rain gauge out but I’d say at minimum we were getting 1” per hour. It rained like that for about an hour and a half
Did you use a nickle rod
Nope just regular ole mig wire, unless this wire has a higher nickel content than I think it does
We called them plow points. Not uncommon to hit a stone and break them.
I suppose that’s what happened in this scenario
It call plow laid find AT Agi dealer
Thanks!
