The ford ltl is a repackaged italeri kit the first issue of. This kit was released was 1994 by italeri as the lone wolf kit it goes together great I have built the original kit the real truck was built in the 1980s
I'm stalled on my first big rig, but watching this is giving me some inspiration to finally finish it. You did a great job of pointing out the good and not so good with both of those kits! Thank Kreg!
I wonder how I'll get along with that frame on the 9000. Already I'm seeing I may need something to hold it square, during assembly of all those pieces. 😮 Thanks for the video, Kreg. I can do some thinking ahead now, before I open mine.
Wow! The Lt 9000 kit looks like a Revell great detail and design and the sprues are colored and the tires are on a tree thanks for the open box review kreg big thumbs ups 👍🏻 👍🏻
Hi Kreg thanks for getting back to me. I thought you would do some of the chrome, I seem to redo all chrome on my kits, I need to have a better technique of getting off the sprue? Thanks Lee.
Welcome to Italeri trucks. They also did a wrecker version that is a U.S. Version no Ford badging. Nice to see you building some Big Rigs. I like the Italeri kits but they are not perfect. Like the trailer frame I am building now. It was short shot. So I had to build the missing section of frame. Keep on Truckin 🐭👍
I had build some years ago, always liked them, after seeing them at the shows, time to get on one. Hoping it's a good build, although I'm always up for disappointing time lol
dang dou the Ford L9000s are bada$$ gotta have two thx 4 sharing 😁🤩scooter😎ps Italeri has some awesome truck kits nicely priced if you please thx Kreg great vid🤣😋
The ram truck kit is quite cool I built it as a teenager in the 70s. I always thought it was unfortunate that AMT never used the real cab for the actual truck which was a c600 with a sleeper the other thing I didn't like about the kid although I understand why it was done is the cutouts in the ramp for the front tires. The real truck was not that way.

I figured it had to be a rebrand, now that you mentioned that I do remember The Italeri kit.. Didn't put those together lol. Thanks for the info Amy..
Your very welcome my friend
The LT 9000, was originally designed, and produced by Italeri.
I'm stalled on my first big rig, but watching this is giving me some inspiration to finally finish it. You did a great job of pointing out the good and not so good with both of those kits! Thank Kreg!
This will be my fourth, first two finished when I was a kid, third one still half way, many still in boxes, this one may happen lol
@@kregskorner8851 your project list is as big as mine! Lol
Great kits.. thanks for sharing
Hi Kreg, the LTL 9000 kit appears to be a carry over from Italeri 728/Revell 07553, this would also explain the unusual scale.
I figured had to be a rebrand, surprised AMT now has it, looks to be a great build. Have a good one!

Thanks for the video, Kreg. I can do some thinking ahead now, before I open mine.
I was thinking the same, need a jig of sort to assemble it, keeping it true..
Looking forward to your buld of the 9000 Hoping I will learn plenty. Proved to me that tyres do grown on trees
Great video Kreg!!! Both of my kits are still sealed so it was a nice look-see so I don't have to open mine until I'm ready. Thanks!
Thanks, i like watching unboxing for the same reason, I have multiple sealed kits, with a, now I know.. Have a good one!
Cool kits Kreg
lol, what language did you use there, Tim?
Thanks Tim, Appreciate it!
Love the cookie monster mug😃👍Those are both nice kits.

Hi Kreg thanks for getting back to me. I thought you would do some of the chrome, I seem to redo all chrome on my kits, I need to have a better technique of getting off the sprue? Thanks Lee.
Hey Lee, Yes for sure need to re-chrome some of this.. You need one of Tamiya's sprue cutters, have a nice flate sid to them for a clean cut.
Great look at both kits Kreg! Can’t wait to see what you do with them 👍 Maybe a dull coat on the chrome?
Thanks Mike, really looking forward on starting the LNL 9000, told myself I need to finish a few kits in front of it, I tend to wonder some lol

Dutch sent me new subscriber 🎉
Appreciate it, Dutch has an awesome channel going!
Can't wait to see the 9000 in the works. I wonder what the history of that kit is. Thanks for sharing.
Same here, told myself I need to finish a few other projects.. Have a good one Alan!
Nice unboxing Kreg. Man now i have to add these to my long list of kits to get lol 😆 😂 👍😎
Thanks Nick, thought I need to through some trucks in the mix..
Great looking kits Kreg
Thanks Tom, looks like some cool builds.
Nice kits, love the car hauler. I have 3 trucks I need to build but am looking to add the hauler to my collection.
Thanks Chester, looking forward on one of these truck builds. it's been a minute for me..
nice kits. i built the hauler. its a great build. Thanks for sharing sir.
Thanks Bubba, I have heard the Hauler is a good build..
Yes it was cool. I had a great time building it. It will look great with one of your awesome mustang builds on it lol.
Very cool kits, Kreg!
Thanks, looking forward to start them..

The Thunderbolt would look good on the hauler. Let me know how the 9000 works out so I know what I'm in for. Thanks Kreg
Yes it would might have to get on it, I have a paint scheme picked out for it, think it will look good!
Nice kits Kreg. I need do a truck kit last time I did a truck kit 1994.
Thanks Jon, like me it's been a minute for a truck build..
After reboot of an Italeri kit. They have done a few others also
I'm glad it returned, great looking kit, just have to figure on a paint scheme.
Cant wait to see what you do with the LT 9000. Do you know if it can be built as a daycab option?
I'm thinking you could take the sleeper off and patch, not sure if there is a panel for it, would look cool!
Rigs are enjoyable builds. Put some carriers together. They store 6 models each for the shelf.
I need to add some carriers to the shelf, will need to make a col cary box like yours for the shows.. Have a good one Jimmy!
Kreg take a good look at your ramp truck my ramp is warp bad.
Both kits are nice ramp truck was a good build. The ltl 9000 is a rebranded kit.
Figured on a rebrand, after watching your video on the hauler stash add, I had to go Great Lakes and get one and the 9000 had me..
@@kregskorner8851 Paul had that in his hands and put it back.
@@kregskorner8851 Italeri kit round two has got the rights to I believe.
Very nice kids I am thinking of building some trucks myself
Hi Kreg thanks for amother great video! Can i ask will you strip all the chrome and repaint? Thanks Lee.
Thanks Lee, yes for sure will be rechroming the wheels, too bright for me.. have a good one!
