- making time at Andrew Hoover's folks' place in Connecticut. sweet little grand piano, nice big room with wonderful acoustics. finally transposed this one to a key I could sing it in....
About 6 years ago when I was in college I heard this version. The passion by Tony is powerful. Literally the first time I heard it I sat in silence afterwards for a good couple minutes because it hit me so hard. I didn't want the moment to end. You can feel the song and that is a rare find these days. Thanks Tony for the incredible performance of this song! It never gets old!
By now, there are thousands of covers of this song but Tony's version will always be the most raw.
After 7 years this is still my favorite version of this song ever.

I think the best part of listening to you is that you don't over sing it. You just simply sing it. I haven't heard anything from you that wasn't beautiful.
A truly lovely and moving cover of this song! Of course I knew way back seeing him on the MMC that he was a talented and gifted singer. When I saw him on the voice I almost didn't recognize him. Anyway I wish him the best of luck with the show because he deserves it.

It's one thing to be able to enjoy good music, but it's another thing to make someone really feel it. This whole thing was heartbreaking. Whether it's coming from your own, or just from the song, it showed and it was felt.
By far, my favourite version anywhere. Hahaha this is where I turn to when I'm feeling bummed.

I discovered him on The Voice and being struck silent by this person's heart, and raw talent, I purchased every one of (quite a few) his original work.It's amazing. He did not have the commercial success that some of his other former colleagues had, I suspect because the life of a singer/songwriter like him, has less commercial appeal, and isn't as easy to understand as those who enjoy, say, Christina Aguilera's talented but easy to understand music.
I like the real heart & soul this guy put in every inch of music he do. Italian roots , never lies ;)

that show was fixed from the beginning if you go back and watch the season there was no way anyone else had a chance. NBC was going for the family man who turned his luck around and went for his dreams rather than a f**king talented man who while he also has a family is 10 times more talented and the clear winner. I will be a Lucca fan till I die.

I was listening to Bonnie Raitt on RUclips & decided to listen to other artists sing this song. Watching you play the piano & sing.....the emotion & feeling you emitted sucked me right in.
