I could barely read the text at the beginning so here's a little tip for editing text into a vid: Red text on a dark background is very hard to read. Especially if the background is already visually "busy". Use larger font white/bordered text or have the text in a box or on a shade-adjusted square to make it more legible. Also don't be afraid to make the text bigger. It's either not important enough to inlcude or important enough to make it easy to read.

You’ll have to redo this build and make a new video :) you forgot discus of light. In almost every situation you should have used discus instead of triple rings. On the lake of rot, the discus would have killed that entire group on the island at that range while the elden flash bang goes off. If they dodge a ring, an earlier ring catches them in the back. Triple rings is great for defense or cutting off flanks but fails at pressuring a group without discus mixups. Discus also chaincasts into triple rings. So at any point you can shut down aggression with the aoe of triple rings. And then chaincast triple rings back into discus if they run away from the aoe. Also, you would have been better served with mace/slender sword with sacred blade. Additional spell+ holy weapon buff tied to your weapon. Shuts down chugging, ganker dragon breaths etc. and free aiming sacred blade is godly in duels.

I just didn't realize how fast I would be there to obtain the spell in NG+, it took me like 1 1/2 hours and I was there. Could have done all of that while having my finger active, I just thought I would lose the finger etc. and redo everything. My new video (crucible knight) is nearly finished and this time I let the viewers decide which build the next video will be. I already considered adding this build as a third option, your comment just confirmed it.
how do the coded swords compare to the sword of night and flame, with these stats? they would also be more in theme with the build, and have a "golden" AoW too. and, they go through shields. another thing: I'd be curious to see the damage you would inflict if you also used the scepter of the all-knowing's AoW (it reduces magic and holy resistance for everyone in range, including you tho).
I did not test coded sword on this build, but I have it on my other Holy Knight Build where I have 80 faith. You are right it would fit the theme more, my thoughtprocess was that having some physical/fire/magic damage could be useful against people that actually use Lords Divine Fortification. Given the fact I focus on 1v3 or 1v2 invasions there actually often is a healer/buffer in the group and I just wanted to have the option to "pierce" through this. I also thought now that I have both Int and Fai on a kind of high level, why not make use of it :) Using the scepter is a nice idea, thank you, I will take it in consideration for the next video where I use holy spells.
okk I see, good point although I've only seen like 1 person use lord's divine fortification, before XD another thing I wanted to ask was, why no barrier of gold?
@@cridus_ Look at the guy at 6:00, he eats Elden Stars and a fully charged Radagons Ring and takes 300 dmg. There are more people using these anti spells than u might think. I decided not to use barrier because I think I could outplay casters with this build. 60% is just OP in my opinion, I don't know how they can leave it unnerfed for pvp. On the other hand you run out of options with a 3 man squad including 2 spamming casters. Moonveil damage also is super high for the castingspeed. Short answer: I have considered it, but left it because I wanted to challenge myself to outplay casters.

I have a very similar build, have you considered using discus of light? After the 1.07 it has great range and I have had great success getting a surprising amount of damage and catching people completely off guard when they try to heal. Might be worth trying if you use the build again. Edit: Not to mention, next to 0 FP consumption.
You really hit a soft spot here. I really wanted to start recording for this video, but brother Corhyn was dead without the Goldmask quest being done in the slightest, so the incantation was unobtainable without starting NG+, which I didn't want to at that time haha. But I regret it hard, because the spell is really good and NG+ Altus Plateau doesn't take long at all.
@@crapbag2560 I don't know for sure, but since a lot of things change after you kill Maliketh my guess is on that. Found the Bell Bearing at Altus Plateau and was really sad because you have do advance just "1 station" to get the Discus and that is on the Bridge with Goldmask. Took me less than 2 hours in NG+ to get that far, so if he is dead that is your best option!
I liked this build and ill have a go with it, although I'm a bit confused on your starting class? Ive put your stats in a calc and it gives me a level 170 and not 150 like yours.
Hello, since it is exactly 20 levels we are talking about I guess it is because of the Soreseal that gives 20 statspoints? Starting class is an Astrologer. Please implement Discus of Light which I missed to do, it will make the build even better 🙂
I use soreseal nearly in all my builds. This one though is actually one where I have thought about the option you mention a lot, but I couldn't do it, I feel to comfy with the soreseal. I am a fan of scorpion charms, here I felt 8% wouldn't be worth it for the price I pay without the soreseal and still having 15% extra dmg taken. Thanks for your idea!
Short story: Brother Corhyn was dead, the Gold Mask quest wasn't progressed and I wanted to start recording instead of starting a NG+. I kept telling myself Triple Rings are enough rings. But yes, I kinda regret it indeed. Discuss of Light is a very useful and good incantation, Lithany of proper Death on the other hand is absolutely useless (50-70 damage haha).

I just powerstance blasphemous blade with helphens steeple at 52 32 faith/int. With Golden vow it can one shot most mages, rings and things aside. Nobody thinks to pair a B scaling faith gs with a B scaling int gs for golden order build. When you combine base damage it's absurd. Put flame grant me strength it's around 1500-2000 per jump attack.
That sounds like a nice and strong build. It just wouldn't fit my character because of the high str requirements. Going lower in Int would mean going lower in Incantation Scaling and those rings were what I was focussing on in this build :)
@@rabbitsinthemoon9183 I ran into that issue too. I use the radahn talisman to get strength from 20 to 25, let's me use the blasphemous blade. Sometimes I will swap out crimson medallion for soreseal to push it to 30, in order to use erdtree greatshield cheese with the rings of light on demand. Cool channel man! If you ever want to gank invaders lmk, I'm around 1000 hours playtime! Good luck!

Hey I’m sure someone asked but I would not use litany of proper death. That spell is not good I believe against anything except skeletons as that spell is specifically made against them to one shot them. If you’ve had good experience with that spell then I would love to know so I could use it
That is exactly why you only see me using it once in the video haha. I read some stuff about it (stagger, fast cast bla bla) and gave it a try but it is indeed very useless in pvp.

I am afraid to say, Black Flame Incantations are pretty bad - they are slow, do low damage and are kinda hard to hit. I tried it already. Well, Golden Order is very fun, but so is Erdtree and Erdtree Incantations imo are stronger, so I go with them. In particular I look at Rings of Radagon and Wrath of Gold. They kind of do the same but WoG is way faster and does more damage. Yes, Rings of Radagon have a good range when fully charged, but no hyper armor and slow cast time make it kind of hard to pull off. If ganksquads just go ham on you and you need a shockwave, WoG is superior to Radagons Rings. Also Elden Stars is my favourite spell and that is an Erdtree Incantation, so yes, Erdtree :)

You are absolutely right, I have 2 videos adressing this bug on my channel. The talismans didn't have any effect on the damage as well, cause holy damage in general is bugged. Only the Scorpion Charm and Crystal Tear buff holy damage, incantations and skills.
Wrath of Gold is Erdtree, not Golden Order. I used it in my other Holy Knight build. I missed it on some situations, but I wanted to be as much Golden Order as possible without mixing it up. Elden Stars are always allowed in these Holy Knight builds :P
I know, so are Erdtree Heal and Golden Vow. They are both holy factions and lorewise close together - I allow myself to use Elden Stars because it is my favourite spell and it is good for zoning against certain setups. The main spells are still the Golden Order ones.
Should’ve put on discus of light. People think it’s bad but when you are a faith build, that thing is a sniper that hits harder then gransax yet takes next to no FP
I think it is amazing, I simply was to lazy to start a NG+ at the point I made the video, Corhyn was dead and the spell unobtainable. Well, if only I knew how fast I would have been back to Corhyn in the NG+, I definetly would have used the spell. But it doesn't hit harder than Gransax, that is for sure 😉
Why did they decide to keep the inferior FP system instead of the individual spell count system of DS1?? Smh Cool magic builds, but chugging on FP "estus" to replenish mana feels... Wrong, hella limiting.
you get far more damage by using minimum int and using a better scaling faith talisman with high faith, much higher damage. you also dont have to dip below 60 vig at level 150. you got some optimising to do
So, if I read your comment correctly you either say I should reach the minimum intelligence requirements for the seal or use another seal which has better faithscaling at all? 1. I can not "just reach" the minimum requirements of the seal when certain spells like Radagons Rings of Light require 31 int. 2. There is something called softcap, here I perfectly reach 45 int and 50 faith softscap, optimizing the scaling perfectly. 3. With a high Faith talisman (I guess you mean finger seal?) you reach 353 incant scaling with the Erdtree Seal, which has the best faithscaling, at 80 Faith. I reach 342 incant scaling with 50/45 here, so that is 11 scaling less, but 20% more damage to Golden Order Incantations from both seals. I even tried the difference between 2 Godslayer Seals and 1 Erdtree in the casting hand and 1 Godslayer seal in the other hand at 80 faith with Blackflame Incantations. The 2x Godslayer seal still outclasses the Erdtree Seal + Godslayer Seal option damagewise because of the % damage to certain Incantations bonus, so I honestly have no idea what you are talking about having "much higher damage with a high faith scaling talisman". You tell me exactly what stats, seals and talismans I should use with 60 vigor at lvl 150 doing more damage than in this video and I will redo the whole thing :)
@@rabbitsinthemoon9183 look at the individual softcaps for each seal they have different softcaps. Chrigght has really good videos on it if you want to see in depth breakdowns. You are not reaching efficient scaling with your int and faith split with your seal. Erdtree seal with 70-80 faith, replace radagons rings of light with wrath of gold, its much faster and combos with more spells anyway and drop the int to a minimum (23 int for triple rings) Have an offhand golden order seal to boost the damage of triple rings, its the best spell you have on the build so its worth it. You will find you have a lot higher incant scaling with the same or less stat investment. Its a very tight build so you will likely have to drop some mind and have to wear haligtree helmet for extra faith. Since you are entirely incantation dependant you can afford to give up a single talisman slot for +5 faith/int I toyed around with this build for a good while and its just my 2cents.
@@ciaranb6151 I don't agree at all. As I mentioned in another comment I would always use WoG over RoR if I want efficency, but in my builds I go for "make use of certain spells, make them work". I wanted to use Radagons Rings for the sake of it. This is a Golden Order build, so I go for offensive Golden Order Spells. I use Elden Stars because it still fits the theme. As I said, Erdtree Seal with 80 faith has 353 incant scaling while 50/45 GO Seal has 342 scaling plus I get 2x 10% on Golden Order Incantations. You think 11 more incant scaling > 10% damage? You also suggest to use the Haligtree Helm for 5 faith? Do you know what the Goldmask does? It boosts Golden Order Incantations by another 10%. I would really like to understand your suggestions but it just doesn't make sense to me and I don't mean it in an offensive way. As I said, tell me the exact items and statsinvestment and I want to see how I do more damage including 60 vigor. I am curious.
I would not recomend the sorceal on high levels, the damage on those levels is very high and is just playing on your disadvantage.

I believe the golden order seal is bugged and doesn’t boost the incantations so there no point in running two

What about wrath of gold, the most important golden order invasion incantation.

I think it is amazing, I simply was to lazy to start a NG+ at the point I made the video, Corhyn was dead and the spell unobtainable. Well, if only I knew how fast I would have been back to Corhyn in the NG+, I definetly would have used the spell. But it doesn't hit harder than Gransax, that is for sure 😉
I see you are not using a rune arc. U can use great runes in invasions.
That only works for the Host of Fingers, not for anyone else, believe me, otherwise I would do it 🙂

why nobody casts more than one Elden stars? like 2 or 3 in succession
If you cast a second one while the first still is in the air the first one disappears. In other words, only 1 Elden Stars at a time.

you get far more damage by using minimum int and using a better scaling faith talisman with high faith, much higher damage. you also dont have to dip below 60 vig at level 150. you got some optimising to do
So, if I read your comment correctly you either say I should reach the minimum intelligence requirements for the seal or use another seal which has better faithscaling at all?
1. I can not "just reach" the minimum requirements of the seal when certain spells like Radagons Rings of Light require 31 int.
2. There is something called softcap, here I perfectly reach 45 int and 50 faith softscap, optimizing the scaling perfectly.
3. With a high Faith talisman (I guess you mean finger seal?) you reach 353 incant scaling with the Erdtree Seal, which has the best faithscaling, at 80 Faith. I reach 342 incant scaling with 50/45 here, so that is 11 scaling less, but 20% more damage to Golden Order Incantations from both seals.
I even tried the difference between 2 Godslayer Seals and 1 Erdtree in the casting hand and 1 Godslayer seal in the other hand at 80 faith with Blackflame Incantations. The 2x Godslayer seal still outclasses the Erdtree Seal + Godslayer Seal option damagewise because of the % damage to certain Incantations bonus, so I honestly have no idea what you are talking about having "much higher damage with a high faith scaling talisman". You tell me exactly what stats, seals and talismans I should use with 60 vigor at lvl 150 doing more damage than in this video and I will redo the whole thing :)
@@rabbitsinthemoon9183 look at the individual softcaps for each seal they have different softcaps. Chrigght has really good videos on it if you want to see in depth breakdowns. You are not reaching efficient scaling with your int and faith split with your seal.
Erdtree seal with 70-80 faith, replace radagons rings of light with wrath of gold, its much faster and combos with more spells anyway and drop the int to a minimum (23 int for triple rings)
Have an offhand golden order seal to boost the damage of triple rings, its the best spell you have on the build so its worth it. You will find you have a lot higher incant scaling with the same or less stat investment.
Its a very tight build so you will likely have to drop some mind and have to wear haligtree helmet for extra faith. Since you are entirely incantation dependant you can afford to give up a single talisman slot for +5 faith/int
I toyed around with this build for a good while and its just my 2cents.
@@ciaranb6151 I don't agree at all. As I mentioned in another comment I would always use WoG over RoR if I want efficency, but in my builds I go for "make use of certain spells, make them work". I wanted to use Radagons Rings for the sake of it. This is a Golden Order build, so I go for offensive Golden Order Spells. I use Elden Stars because it still fits the theme.
As I said, Erdtree Seal with 80 faith has 353 incant scaling while 50/45 GO Seal has 342 scaling plus I get 2x 10% on Golden Order Incantations. You think 11 more incant scaling > 10% damage? You also suggest to use the Haligtree Helm for 5 faith? Do you know what the Goldmask does? It boosts Golden Order Incantations by another 10%. I would really like to understand your suggestions but it just doesn't make sense to me and I don't mean it in an offensive way. As I said, tell me the exact items and statsinvestment and I want to see how I do more damage including 60 vigor. I am curious.

Do you mean if you get a lot of action at level 150? If so, yes. In the evening a bit more than in daytime, but I never get bored :)
