Sometimes you just assume you've already done something so trivial. However, how do you not check something so simple before you take it somewhere assuming its not a prebuild.
Simple fix. This is why I stress to my friends to know a bit of what you own. That's what my father taught me. "Whatever you have, know about it or someone will sell you lies about it."

Ordered a prebuilt from NZXT BLD and had to take the plastic peel off myself 😁😁 so satisfying having to remove my cooler to get that nice new plastic peel sensation!! They really care about their quality control and letting customers have their satisfaction! (never buying from nzxt again LOL)
Laptops can go to 100 max until they automatically shutdown to protect itself from burning Just dont go over 90 for a prolonged time it will reduce life span

Thank you for being honest and not cheating your customers. I worked at Canada Computers in Toronto and they lied and cheated people like crazy. I took action and contacted all customers who were cheated and repaired everything for free. I hate that people who know nothing about computers or electronics get cheated out of their money.

Honestly they showed the solution so like, probably only the shipping costs and maybe like 30 minute labor charge. Just because it's easy to do, doesn't mean it's completely free, since the workers still gotta get paid for their work
@@mirairoses there's another thing that might add to the price too. if you repair someone's PC, sometimes they see you as responsible for every little thing that goes wrong for the next year or so, so if anything severe happens they'll be angry at you even if it isn't related at all to anything you've done. some shops charge a little extra as an insurance against this so that they can do further repairs in future without being stuck in the difficult position of either having to do an extra repair that they don't have the money for, or being publicly falsely accused of botching the job or scamming their customers.
Yup, you're paying for the knowledge, time and troubleshooting skills. If you don't want to pay now then enjoy paying a few hundred for a new CPU in a month or two.
The amount of times this happens is insane. How these PC assemblers get the machine through a bench test without it being flagged is beyond me. I've always built my own, and always will.
That customer doesn’t deserve to own a computer. It amazes me how some are so quick to pay to have a problem fixed instead of trying to t-shoot the issue themselves.
You can't always tell you fixed it right away until you test it, so it's good that you guys did that. But when you spot a huge deal like that you can assume the test will now be good, until you test it..
