I've never seen a chat explain the landing controls so terribly before. Left ALT + N = requesting permission to open hangar doors to take off when inside the hangar. Or to request a landing pad when trying to land. Tapping N brings up and puts down landing gear. Holding N when above a landing pad automatically lands the ship for you so long as you're close to landing orientation.
@@MisterTrashcanLivestreams Every game loop has it's own unique controls or ways of doing things. Go out and try them all, see which ones you like best. P.S. if you ask in global if you can be someones crew member, a lot of times someone will be there to accept you
This game IS better than Starfield, but it's also a little more buggy and not officially "complete" even though it has more stuff to do than Starfield. CIG put all their effort and money into making 2 awesome games, Bethesda put all their effort and money into commercials, paid 10/10 ratings and making the game seem great on the surface.
My biggest gripe with the Bethesda game in the past couple of years is that they keep selling us the same game. It's the same quests on the same game engine. The same bugs, the same lame excuses. I'd played Star Citizen for 5 minutes and liked it better already!
Try turning the clouds back on sometime. And see if setting graphics quality to max actually increases your fps. If you're running the game and your CPU is maxed out but your GPU isn't, max graphics should make it run better.
Not bad thought you did quite well for a newbie, it is a very large learning curve, you can get AI to automate controls and eye tracking plus joysticks to really enhance the immersion in this vast game, when the new updates come online in about April time this game will go to yet another level. Yes it's buggy and playing it you are basically a human crash dummy but it's still fun if you just go with the flow and take the bugs on your chin. It's absolutely mind blowing when you consider what you can do in this game, no loading screens and hole planets and moons as well as bases and cities to explore. There is even face tracking so you can see your person speak as you do, slightly buggy and fecking hilarious.
Yeah the face tracking is cool as you can then talk to the camera like a presenter when in 3rd person, positioning the camera in front of yourself, you can do 'B' role stuff and make a video that is very immersive, getting used to panning the camera round your ship when filming flying the craft, people have made entire videos that look like little movies. AI for control is cool as you can then automate most of the controls in the craft, start engines, fire flares, and so much more etc all by just saying it, no button pushing. Then the eye tracking enables just using your eyes to look around like you would in real life. All of these features are added extras though. @@MisterTrashcanLivestreams
Yeah, don't ask me why. This VOD has more views than my entire Fallout 3 series on my main channel. And since there's clearly more demand for Star Citizen, I might as well start a series on it :)
@@MisterTrashcanLivestreams Yeah, noticed And I won't ask why because I have a pretty good idea why. Several other content creators have stated pretty much the same; so they switched to solely star citizen content.
I'll give it a shot but I don't think I'll fall in love with the game xD Mabye when Squadron 42 comes out, but I just don't know what Star Citizen is really about 👀
@@MisterTrashcanLivestreams That's OK, it's not a project you have to work on if you don't like it. I'm just sharing what I've heard other creators say.
If you stood on a chair just once, you are never going back, trust me.
I've heard that from multiple people, I should try it out!
welcome to the verse! there is alot to explore and discover and lots to learn on how to navigate the game and its bugs
I can tell xD Welp, it'll be a long journey :)

Ohhh, so the N key basically does all the landing operations? I get it, I get it :D Thanks!

Never teach people the keybinds. Teach people how to use the interface on the ship first to request, then they can know the shortcut for that.
That's how I really learned the controls after my second run :D
Primary Residence Selection was deactived at that molent. 🤔
I recently played the new patch with a friend and it completely shredded my PC xD The spaceship exhibit was nice though haha

Great vid bud. Keep going at it and don't give up! You'll master it :)
Haha thanks, I'm sure once I've gotten the controls etched into my muscle memory, it'll be a ton of fun :)
your pc can handle SC its the servers causing lag so i wouldn't worry about settings id worry more on server stability
Oh? That's a relief xD I thought my PC was potatoing out

I'll definitely have to tinker with the settings a good bit xD Especially since streaming takes up a significant amount of system resources
@MisterTrashcanLivestreams oh good point, I don't know how that would play in to what I just mentioned.
Yes. You can change your appearance at ANY point, the chatter was wrong
That's good to know :D

The facial tracking sounds awesome! Dang, I had no idea this game had that many features :o

It's a shame you turned off the clouds even before checking if it's making any difference.
I did check it out later and performance died xD
Ugh, I don't know what's worse, nobody to help or annoyingly bossy people who don't even know what they are talking about.
Although I was really confused, it's really cool that you can interact with pretty much everything in the game :D
do not land decoupled at full speed
24mins to walk to the metro 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I had to take in the scenery :D
atm only 1 dollar XD
Hello how much will it cost me to build pc to play star citizen. Many thanks
I couldn't tell you because I can barely run it myself xD
