There is actually another Scene that can be activated in the shop to Steal from the cash register, use Alice as a distraction by getting her to knock the cans of soda that are stacked up by the Shelves. Then their is no need to use the gun.

They wrote it masterfully enough that despite no individual soldier being evil, you actually end up cheering as Kara crushes a human guard's windpipe without her skin.
You know what would've been really cool? If you had the option to further intimidate the cashier into doing as you say. Like you continue to be threatening and aggressive and the Cashier will remain silent when the customer comes in. But if you're too calm then he'll silently ask the customer for help or "call the police" or something.

So when you understand her in that light its already easier to appreciate her.

She puts her own personal vendetta above the bigger picture. Josh was violently attacked by some drunk students, if I am not mistaken, but despite that experience he chooses to vouch for a peaceful approach because he understands that they have a better chance to win the humans' sympathy that way. And I think it's also because his models were used as lecturers for history and languages, so he was in contact with humans who were there to learn and develop, while North was only in contact with humans who just used her for often perverted things. Josh saw the better of humanity and understood they could make humans see reason through peace. North saw only humans who used her as an object and treated her badly and so has no reason to trust and like them. They are good opposites both often giving valid points from their perspective.

Perfect aim at any range, ability to process information in a fraction of the time it takes for a human, and nevet get tired in a prolonged fight. Even a "weak" child care taker robot like Kara was able to do all of that. It's clear Humans would stand no chance in a 1v1 especially with a speciallu designed prototype like Connor and yet somehow he can die to Gavin if you fail your QTEs. Either they're fighting super machines or just incappable of actually dealing a fatal blow

She went from barely able to handle todd to fuckin keeping up with, winning against, and murdering trained soldiers with armor. It's clear, any deviant can become the most dangerous marksmen on earth as well as martial artist. Perfect aim at any range, ability to process information in a fraction of the time it takes for a human, and nevet get tired in a prolonged fight. Even a "weak" child care taker robot like Kara was able to do all of that. It's clear Humans would stand no chance in a 1v1 especially with a speciallu designed prototype like Connor and yet somehow he can die to Gavin if you fail your QTEs. Either they're fighting super machines or just incappable of actually dealing a fatal blow
