Between watching my friend irl and your guides I’ve come to really enjoy swordsoul as a deck and started climbing the ranks with it. I think my favourite thing about it (besides finally playing an actual tier 1 deck) is looking at my hand and being able to go “yeah I can crack this board if I’m smart”
When will he craft a Dark Magician meta deck???

That second game showed combos I would have never thought about, incredible
kinda late but ... I don't understand the 2nd game ... he went through 2 synchros and like 10 cards to make the opponent discard a single card I mean ... it's kind of a "because I can" play which increases your odds ever so slightly however wasn't that just a waste of time? xd
@@StrikerDeluxe Making omega to banish the card from hand allowed him to use the tenyi's to extend, if he didnt he could just make a synchro
Hate when people say Swordsoul is boring and easy cause it has a low skill floor. The skill ceiling is insanely high, and this deck is crazy good at showing how good a pilot is.
Not really high skill when you can watch a video on how to play it. You know you have skill when you build your own deck from scratch and improve it through play testing and actually manage to make it solid. Alot of these people just look up the build , watch a few vids and are off to the races. Very few modify it for their own play style and truly learn the archetype.

@@ReezyFresh your not getting a what I'm saying. .. if you use a deck card for card and play exactly the way you saw someone else play it. You cannot claim that is skill. I'm not saying people who do that are bad, I'm saying that's not what would be considered skill in the context of the game. Inspiration implys you applied something you saw to enhance your own style or technique not copy it exactly, meaning you applied it to your OWN set of skills , not copy someone else's. If someone restored a classic car and you bought it , is that car reflective of your skill or the guy who did the work? Same context
I enjoy that Swordsoul functions on a really skill testing kind of level, where if you're new to the deck you usually just go chix + baron + blackout pass (which is ok but isn't that hard to crack), but if you're more experienced with the deck you can go off into all these nutty halq aurora lines with the tenyis
Well that depends if you have Acces to the Tenyis. Sometimes you will be still forced to end on that Board

Those play is whole new level for me, definitely helping me learn swordsoul better
that first line was crazy but i perfer chaofeng instead of chenying but i love that line into sinister. Chaofeng locks opponent out of lights and then protos locks em out of darks. Black out called by and chixiao plus follow up with taia/ asuhna
I actually just started playing this deck in the TCG not to long ago and Omg you just showed me that this deck is soooo much better then I thought. AMAZING! but... I still don't know if 2 or 3 Ecclesia is correct in the TCG haha

I also forgot that Yazi had targeting protection, so slight misplay there that didn't exactly matter in the long term. But hey, you know what they say about yugioh players and reading.

Little question. Newer to the game but that missing timing thing is complicated.
In the first duel. Baxia destroyed yazi and summoned the monster. Shouldn‘t yazi miss timing because it‘s a when eff and the last thing that happened was the summon of a monster and not it being destroyed?
This is a PSCT thing.
Baxia's second effect uses the "and if you do" conjunction, the destruction of Yazi and the special summon of a level 4 or lower monster from your graveyard happen simultaneously, thus Yazi being destroyed is still part of the last event that occured.

In the first round after collector you could use the token of Longyuan for Chixao and banish blackout. Then you would have the ability to draw 2 cards + Lvl 10 Synchro.

Man when I started master duel swordsoul looked so cool but then I saw how much stuff you do per turn and I just couldn't keep up and I never got into master duel

Bruh. When Mo Ye got impermed you should've go off Chixiao and banished Blackout. That way you will still end with Baron + Chixiao + Maxx C on your hand. Better board with less resources wasted. Opponent's already at 3 cards. Even if you were trying to go aggressive I can't see how your 1 Chixiao - Taia - Auroradon - Needlefiber is better than the one I mentioned.
PAK what do you think of going 47 - 48 cards? People are saying it's waaay better than 40. Also why not add crossouts on top of the calleds? You don't fear maxx c?
