I love how there's so much variety in soul calibur 2 that they have the balls to add Link from the legend of zelda, Heihachi from tekken, and Spawn from 3 different consoles

Not gonna lie. Soul calibur games tend to look really good for the console generation they came out on. And they tend to look good even going into the next generation. Soul calibur 4 still looks amazing to this day and soul calibur 2 honestly looks good to this day as well, especially compared to other games that came out in the same gen. Also time to add 2b to this list xD

But I don't blame Namco for reducing the budget the series had to be rebooted so it's understandable hopefully Soulcalibur can kick Tekkens ass in the visual department again.

I think most people are focused onto the guest characters, because that's what this video is about. Aside from guest characters, I did want to see Lucius Alexander join in. One website called him by that name, but I would have thought his last name would be Alexandra, because he's the brother of Cassandra and Sophitia. Cassandra was my favorite character in Soul Calibur 2. I only played Soul Calibur 2 and Soul Calibur Legends, but if Lucius joins in any, I might go for it, but I think the chance for him is never.
I do not see Zelda anywhere in the game. Zelda: Link, this series has no relation to our series, so do not join in series that do not belong to Nintendo. Link: Well, excuuuse me princess, but I wanted to show them my skills. I thought I could join in as guest.

I'm the complete opposite. All I've ever had was a game cube so Link is all I've ever known. I didn't even know about Spawn and Heihachi until much later.
There was KOS-MOS from Xenosaga: Episode 1 on Soul Calibur 3, though she was one you had to build using the X-type pieces. She's one of my favorite guest characters in Soul Calibur history, next to Heihachi.
Note: Though SC3 doesn't have any official "guest characters" you can unlock a Costume of KOS-MOS from Xenosaga as clothes in the Character creation options. And along with that Devil Jin from TEKKEN appears in the same fashion in SC5.

So let me get this straight. Every version of SoulCalibur 2 had a guest character exclusive to that version. The Xbox version had Spawn, the PS2 version had Heihachi, and the GameCube version had Link. Which version is used when playing competitively? Edit: I learned eventually that the guest characters were banned from tournaments.
Whoever did the footage for showing off Link played him wrong. What you're suppose to do is back up until you're hair away from the edge of the arena, then grab the opponent while pushing back on the control stick for an instant ring out of the opponent.
I only bought Soul Calibur 2 on GameCube for Link from the Legend Of Zelda. My brother did get Soul Calibur Legends, because it was an action adventure game. We did not go for the other Soul Calibur games. If the brother of Cassandra and Sophitia (named Lucius) does join in any, I might go for that series, but I think the chance is never. By the way, my favorite character in Soul Calibur 2 is Cassandra, but Link was the main reason I got Soul Calibur 2, because I knew him from the Legend Of Zelda.

I only bought Soul Calibur 2 on GameCube for Link from the Legend Of Zelda. My brother did get Soul Calibur Legends, because it was an action adventure game. We did not go for the other Soul Calibur games. If the brother of Cassandra and Sophitia (named Lucius) does join in any, I might go for that series, but I think the chance is never. By the way, my favorite character in Soul Calibur 2 is Cassandra, but Link was the main reason I got Soul Calibur 2, because I knew him from the Legend Of Zelda.
Same here, Link is the best guest character, he got the fighting moves from smash bros, he's been saving hyrule since the first zelda game
