Even though Lars is a Mishima it doesn't eliminate a possibility of him being a direct descendant of Seigfried. They share strong similarities when it came to personality and appearance(especially possessing facial scars). It would definitely be very cool to see a possible transformation for both of them since Seigfried possesses some mysterious demonic power that is link to Inferno which can possibly be passed down to his descendents, and for Lars which Mishimas never explained their full extent of their powers can possibly be linked to some other supernatural beings or demons.
damn, imagine a soul if soul caliber 2 had Ryu Hayabusa for XBOX. It would've been more impressive to see him use his Dead or Alive moveset with his Ninja Gaiden Weapons. But I feel like Tomonobu Itagaki wouldn't approve. He hated Namco's Tekken at the time and was so competitive with that franchise.
Soul Calibur 2 is easily one of my favorite fighting games of all time. Its just such a unique fighting games in its time and the indepthness of the characters its hard not to love it. I remember sitting in front of my game cube kicking the crap out of my little brother with links broken ass bombs and arrows before we started to play smash where i do the same to him.
If Soul Calibur VI gets any more guest characters then ideally I'd like to see Cloud, Alexander Anderson, Father Gascoigne, Xiaoyu, or Kratos (he hasn't appeared in a mainline Soul Calibur yet).
Necrid was an all time favorite for me I actually never realized that he was this broken until i did some research. Tis a shame he only appeared once. But still a great character in my opinion
Heihachi is still my favorite guest character. I love using his 10-Hit Combo. It’s command input is less difficult than Ivy’s crazy whip attack but it’s pretty flashy.
i remember as a kid playing legacy of kain on the xbox (thumbs up to anyone who remembers that series) and when my brother ran in the room telling me he read a game informer magazine saying sc2 is coming to xbox with a guest charecter with a dark past i REALLY WANTED IT TO BE KAIN (becuase i wanted ralphiel to have a true vampire nemises)but spawn was alright too :/
I was going to buy the game anyway (I had the first game on the Dreamcast) but Link’s inclusion in the GameCube version really helped it outsell even the PS2 version for a period! Apart from the awkward B + X grapple move, I thought the GameCube controller was great for it. Link was also my favourite character.
I got them all, SC on Dreamcast, SC2 on GC, SC3 on PS2, SC4 & 5 and PS3 and SC6 on my PS4 i love the series one of my fav beat-em-up games. SC3 i'd have to say is my favorite of the series, the character creation (which i love) had alot of options and there were just alot of features in general in that game, Chronicles of the Sword and the Lance fighting weapon was awesome.
Namco needs to return the favor and put a Soul Calibur character in Smash. Once they've ported SCII HD to the Switch, of course. We need a complete version of SCII! It was a fun gimmick back then, but console-exclusive guests are massive double-edged sword, if you'll pardon the pun.
@@Stumblebee I'm thinking Nightmare for iconicity and offering something a little different from the other sword users (namely, having a sword bigger than some of the cast members). Maybe they'd be able to add Siegfried as his echo if he returned after that. In terms of whose moves would translate the best to Smash I think Yoshimitsu is the best candidate to represent SC or Tekken (and maybe have costumes from both series), but since he's not the main character that would diminish his chances.
There is a hack of SCII's GameCube version in the works that mods the game to import Heihachi's and Spawn's movesets. At the time of writing this comment, it hasn't imported the two characters' models yet (apparently importing models is hard), so they're using Mitsurugi and Necrid's 2P costumes as bases for the imported movesets and voice lines. The mod's called SCII Plus, and it also incorporates other features like a playable Inferno.
Meanwhile far faaaar away in alternate universe, people got Cloud and Dante as guest characters instead of Spawn and Link. And alternate universe's Stumblebee is making a video about it.....
It only took over a decade and a half, but Spawn is finally back in fighting games. Too bad it's happening in MK11 (would've much preferred 9, since that game was actually great), but at least we're finally getting Keith David back for the voice.

Supposedly, Soul calibur was going to have Medieval Spawn, but due to licensing issues they resorted to use Spawn, i herd this from a mexican nintendo oficial magazine "Club Nintendo" back when the game was new, but i can't find this referenced anywhere, maybe it was just speculation.
Imagine they make a definitive edition for all modern day platformers, and they kept the console exclusive characters from the original in the new version You'd get Link, Heihachi, and Spawn in the same game. Now that's an ambitious crossover
I have Soul Calibur 2 on the PS3’s HD Online. With those three unique guest characters in those systems. Spawn and Link are all great characters. I have to go with the PS2 version because Heihachi is my favorite within the Tekken series. I am a big Tekken fan! #tekkenfanforever

They are, world of soul calibur so big. If you combine tekken, you see why evil and good always fight.
Awesome video bro. Classic and informative. Never knew Todd created that BOI Necrid. Now I gotta make him on SC6. LOL. Keep up the great work
Most underrated channel on RUclips
Tell your friends! I won't stop til I'm the most OVERRATED channel on RUclips!
5:48 for remembering Seaman, I give you, the bless award!
damn, imagine a soul if soul caliber 2 had Ryu Hayabusa for XBOX. It would've been more impressive to see him use his Dead or Alive moveset with his Ninja Gaiden Weapons. But I feel like Tomonobu Itagaki wouldn't approve. He hated Namco's Tekken at the time and was so competitive with that franchise.
"heihachi is the only main roster character come from another franchise" Yoshimitsu would like to speak with you
My favorite fighting game series of all time ❤️
LINK IS MY MOST FAVORITE CHARACTER IN SOUL CALIBUR AND SUPER SMASH BROS AS WELL LOVE HIM SO MUCH
I'd totally get SC2 again on Switch just to be link in it!
They need to release this game for the switch this game is bad ass i remember playing it on the gamecube
Man what I love is that MK11 will be releasing Spawn sometime this year.
Thus, Spawn makes his Nintendo fighting game debut? Maybe?
Hopefully this year at the rate they are releasing characters.
Literally the only reason I'll buy MK11 when he gets released. ^^
@@Duisburg051 Looking at your name, you might be a fan. Enjoy him and his Fatalities!
@@caleb6755 Indeed I am. ^^
If Soul Calibur VI gets any more guest characters then ideally I'd like to see Cloud, Alexander Anderson, Father Gascoigne, Xiaoyu, or Kratos (he hasn't appeared in a mainline Soul Calibur yet).
Soul calibur 2 was my life as a child.. ah so many memories
16:18 high level move by that yoshimitsu player. An enemy cannot defeat you if you defeat yourself - Some Zoo
I'm still bitter than Link wasn't in the HD edition of SC2.
Just discovered this channel thankyou. I own the gamecube and ps2 one I love. Both the guests!
Necrid was an all time favorite for me I actually never realized that he was this broken until i did some research. Tis a shame he only appeared once. But still a great character in my opinion
Love soul calibur 3 the most.
Soul calibur 2 is great way to learn crossover character.
They really wanted Dante
Yeah! Soul Calibur 3 is the best!!
Oh man the SNES Spawn game brings back memories! I remember as a kid I always had a hard time on The Redeemers level.
Who should they use tho? Mitsurugi?
@@Stumblebee I'm thinking Nightmare for iconicity and offering something a little different from the other sword users (namely, having a sword bigger than some of the cast members). Maybe they'd be able to add Siegfried as his echo if he returned after that. In terms of whose moves would translate the best to Smash I think Yoshimitsu is the best candidate to represent SC or Tekken (and maybe have costumes from both series), but since he's not the main character that would diminish his chances.
@@GreenChillZone I'm thinking nightmare or yoshimitsu
@AT Productions I would prefer Zasalamel, and he would be even unique in smash, but I know it is pretty unlikely.
I don’t think Smash needs a Soulcalibur Character.
I have link to thank for introducing for me to this series...great series especially when high or intoxicated
HUGE missed opportunity to put CLOUD in Soul Calibur. Where's a time machine when you need one.
You just made a Chad Warden reference. I’m glad I subscribed.
5:22, the feels :"(
As a playstation 2 child I'm glad we got an extra tekken character got me into tekken 4 a few years after this came out love both franchisees ❤❤
Heihachi had a mid electric??
Damn
It's absolutely nuts. I think it's one of like three games that had a true mid EWGF.
HE MUST WIN
HE MUST WIN
Meanwhile far faaaar away in alternate universe, people got Cloud and Dante as guest characters instead of Spawn and Link. And alternate universe's Stumblebee is making a video about it.....
Watching this backstory on Todd makes Spawn's appearance in MK11 much funnier
It only took over a decade and a half, but Spawn is finally back in fighting games.
Too bad it's happening in MK11 (would've much preferred 9, since that game was actually great), but at least we're finally getting Keith David back for the voice.
Spawn was my favorite guest character lol love the series 3 is my favorite just was missing the guest characters.
I love this game. The best soul calibur, and the only game with the best 3d model of Link ever put to screen. Seriously, This Link is the best looking link in a game i have ever seen.
Alright! SC II - Love this game! Gamecube version was my version of choice.
Soulcalibur II was the Tekken 7 of it's time.
I’m getting soul caliber 2 on GameCube for Christmas I’m so excited
Supposedly, Soul calibur was going to have Medieval Spawn, but due to licensing issues they resorted to use Spawn, i herd this from a mexican nintendo oficial magazine "Club Nintendo" back when the game was new, but i can't find this referenced anywhere, maybe it was just speculation.
I do hope the other parts come out, I am very curious about the other guest characters in the other games, mostly 4...
Imagine they make a definitive edition for all modern day platformers, and they kept the console exclusive characters from the original in the new version
You'd get Link, Heihachi, and Spawn in the same game. Now that's an ambitious crossover
We want a Soul Calibur Tag where Everybody including the Guests are All Playable.
Dude what if soul calibur 2 HD gets ported to switch but they replace OOT link with BOtW Link?
That Chadwarden callout man. Damn, that takes me back.
Namco and image comics should colab on a soulcalibur comic
Spawn actually got a double entry in the series...he is currently in Soul Calibur VI.
Voldo is if Vega took drugs
I have Soul Calibur 2 on the PS3’s HD Online. With those three unique guest characters in those systems.
Spawn and Link are all great characters. I have to go with the PS2 version because Heihachi is my favorite within the Tekken series. I am a big Tekken fan! #tekkenfanforever
Holy shit! Cloud was suppose to be the PS2 guest originally instead of Hehaichi? That would have been so sick.
You I just bought soulcalibur 2 yesterday and currently still playing it❤️😭
A rare W for Nintendo GameCube owners 😌
Spawn on the GameCube was the hardest game for me growing up, I miss it and I wish I still had it.
Genexolev Ashtiani i played Spawn: Armageddon for the GameCube, look it up
YO, I thought I was the only one to notice the announcer's hesitation to say the number.
Edit: Ok, you even got a CHAD WARDEN reference in there. I wish I could subscribe twice.
Easily my favourite guest characters in soul calibur has to be Yoda and Darth vader in soul calibur 4. Yeah it makes absolutely no sense what so ever but it was bloody brilliant seeing some 16th century looking swordsman stand next to a futuristic looking suit with a laser sword.
I got somethin for ya coming up in a few months. Gonna take a look at that game too ;)
@@Stumblebee Ahh nice, can't wait to see it
@@thebotbuilder Grover is that mean than cannon in Soul Calibur
