Firefighters from South Africa break into song and dance as they arrive in Alberta to help

- Despite a nearly day-long trip from South Africa, approximately 200 firefighters broke out into song and dance as they arrived at Edmonton International Airport on Thursday to help fight the ongoing wildfires burning across Alberta.
It's a tradition the Working on Fire crews repeat each morning before fighting fires across the world.
The government-funded organization is focused primarily on firefighting management and have made several trips to the Canadian province in the last decade, including during the harrowing Fort McMurray wildfire crisis in 2016.

As per our own firefighters, they (the hired help) have zero experience with these types of fires and most have never even seen these types of trees. An army of our own retired firefighters with decades of experience were denied these roles to pay for this, and that is probably why the fire continue to burn.
It's amazing seeing how horrible our "news" media is every day, hey? None of these people commenting will never know that truth, and they'll label anyone who says it a conspiracy theorist. I watched the interview with that one firefighter the other day.

well, appreciate the help, but why is Canada doing this? we're supposed to be rich and sophisticated nation, and ought to have firefighters and equipment already to easily handle these fires. How much of a distraction will it be to get these men up to speed on the particulars in Canada. This is how it's been done for years. Our people will go to volunteer where the fires are. Sometimes the fires are so bad local firefighters are overwhelmed. ❤
