Your tests are super useful! you actually answer the questions that people are actually wondering about. Most "Mainstream" reviewers just rattle off their pre written script (probably sent to them by the company) But you actually go and test the thing practically and answer the questions that people are asking. Awesome! Keep it up!
I bought the Sigma 56mm a few months ago after watching your videos. Its the best lens I have ever used. Keep making these videos, they are a great reference for novice photographers like myself!
The Sigma Trio are just amazing..I have the 16mm left to get but love my 30 and 56mm Quality pictures especially when you bring them into lightroom and mess with different presets
I'm sure the ones that missed were just because they were under minimum focus distance for the lens - I call that a full house! I was saving for the Tamron 17-70 but I'm not sure now I have seen how well the Sigma performs
Yeah I did wonder the same - I just thought I'd throw those shots in anyway. And yeah I was also checking out the 17-70 but the compact size of the 18-50 won me over
Thank you 🙏🏻. If that’s your priority then any of the four lenses will serve you well. I still feel the 30 is a good place to start, you’ll love the 1.4 aperture - and it’s also the cheapest!
Hello Stuart. I know you recommended to get the 30 mm one first, but now I see your other videos you're also talking food words about the 18-50. I'm going to buy a zv-e10 as my first camera, going to shoot mostly talking head stuff and sometimes maybe some things on my table. Maybe how I draw a couple lines or counting coins on the table. So would you advise me get a 30 mm Sigma, or get the 18-50 as my first and for quite a while the only lens? Thanks a lot, great video!
Jeff micro four thirds and shooting full frame. Just yesterday wondered if the weight of FF really worth it. I mainly shoot street photography and abandoned building and an occasional street portraits. I’ve been researching the 6700 for its size / auto focus / video and lens eco system.
i have been watching your channel for years now and you're always amazed me with your on point videos. ❤ i purchased Sony a6400 with sigma 16mm & Ronin Sc GIMBALL in late 2021... after that in 2022 i was ill for a year and couldn't fully recover and my movements are limited and also asked not to carry weight for long time... Now I'm wandering to purchase sony 50mm 1.8 for that i have sell my gimball or sell both and buy sigma 18-50 f/2.8..... NOW i want to focus on general photography portrait landscape whenever on a occasion or tour .. which way would you go in my circumstances ? thanks 🤍
Thank you Stuart. Your video is very good :) i have a sigma 30mm 1.4 for Fuji. But autofocus is not good for video. I am waiting a firmware. Thank you again and hello from istanbul of Turkey!
Great video! I just bought the Sony Zv e10 with a sigma 18-50 f/2.8 but I’m torn on if I need a sigma prime lens for low light situations? I plan to vlog my travels with this setup which in some places it will be dark so do you think the zoom lens will be able to produce quality videos/pictures?
Yes. F1.4 and 2.8 is a huge difference, 4x the light. Or the difference between ISO 3200 vs 12,800. 3200 is where I would usually stop at. 6400 in a pinch, but 12,800 is unusable for APSC. Maybe get a 16 or 30 to start with. I would lean towards the 16 as wider lenses are versatile, but a 30 f1.4 will double as a decent portrait lens.
Hello, thanks for your video, I have some questions, I would like you to help me, I have the sigma 30mm 1.4 but when doing autofocus it makes a bit of noise, I can even feel the vibration in the hands of the lens focusing, is it normal? Or should I take it to warranty?
Thank you for your video! I own the 18-50mm and it's a great lens, I do most of my stuff with it. I wonder what is your opinion about the prime 56mm in comparison to the 18-50? Does it feel like a big upgrade? I'm also using Sony a6600 😉

Hi Stuart
Sigma 18-50 f2.8 or Sigma trio for vacation and everyday use for a hobbyist who likes high-quality photos and videos?
I wonder too

Cual comprastes y como te va con el lente
Would you get the Sigma 18-50mm starting out on the Sony 6700 or get the 30mm 56mm combo?
Road to 10k!
Getting there! 🙌🏻
Yet another great video that really helps!
Thanks Renaat
Very helpful vid, cheers!
Glad it helped!
I can assume you prolly use the 18-5 more than the primes now
Great work. Thank you
Nice ..loved your videos
Thanks man 🙌🏻
Hello Stuart, awesome video. What would you say will be the best lens for run and gun kind of work, main priority would be quick autofocus.
Thank you 🙏🏻. If that’s your priority then any of the four lenses will serve you well. I still feel the 30 is a good place to start, you’ll love the 1.4 aperture - and it’s also the cheapest!
Your daughter is cute and beautiful
Bit odd that

Hey @golosbezdoka did you buy the camera? I have the 18-50 as my first lens other than the kit lens and I really like it! What did you decide to do?
@@MichaelSmithRaces hi, no, I got a Canon RP. So far so good :)
I can’t decide between sigma 18-50 and 56mm 😢any recommendations?

More to come in the future 👍🏻
As always ❣️ it
Thanks Mohit 👍🏻
Hello, thanks for your video, I have some questions, I would like you to help me, I have the sigma 30mm 1.4 but when doing autofocus it makes a bit of noise, I can even feel the vibration in the hands of the lens focusing, is it normal? Or should I take it to warranty?
You really should have more subscribers
Thanks Marcin - maybe one day! 🙌🏻
He doesn’t produce useless clickbait, so not likely.
Is it redundant to bring the sigma 18 to 50 and the 30mm f1.4 on a trip?
Nop sometimes I take with me sigma 18-50! And Sony 35 mm F1.8 for low light situations, or even 16 mm f1.4 and sigma 18-50
Thank you for your video! I own the 18-50mm and it's a great lens, I do most of my stuff with it. I wonder what is your opinion about the prime 56mm in comparison to the 18-50? Does it feel like a big upgrade? I'm also using Sony a6600 😉
Bokeh from 56 mm it's huge comparing to the 18-50
@@manuel_ve thanks! I will try it
Cool
Thanks 🙌🏻
Do you have your autofocus set to continuous or single?
Continuous 👍🏻
To my surprise I do did not like the zoom lens of Sigma didn't like the no ! I got the 16mm don't like that one either :(.
Por qué?
Why don't you like the sigma 16 mm?
