@@AbiAkoms Great choice!!! It is my belief that, we are meant to wear our hair not just it it’s natural state, but loc’d, and as a reward, the universe allows it to grow to lengths not even achievable by ANY other race or culture of people, watch and see🩵
Yeees sis, TOSS ‘em’ to the wind! I’m so proud of your for showing the world who you REALLY are! Ain't nothin' like rockin' those natural curls and that Afro with confidence, letting your true self shine through! Thank you so much for commenting & watching, I truly appreciate you! 🫶🏾
Ive had too many friends tell me that their natural hair would not look right on them...im so the hair you were born with doesn't fit you huh lol ... Another story i was with my home girl and we were going to a party i said dang im not feeling my hair speaking about the style it was in she says i mean you're natural like u can only wear one style being natural i just looked at her like girl what ?? 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ I am here with u sistar i am proud to where my natural hair going natural changed my life my awareness of who i was it gave me confidence guided me towards my spiritual journey there's nothing better than being your true self
Absolutely girl, PREACH! 🙌🏾Embracing my natural hair has been an incredible journey for me as well. It's not just about the style, but about accepting and celebrating who we truly are. It's empowering to be comfortable in our own skin and to let our natural beauty shine through. Thank you for commenting beautiful! 🫶🏾
Lupita is right. BW should wear their natural hair (styled) to "celebration events." It would do so much for changing the perception that natural hair, specifically loose natural hair, is unprofessional and not classy. Tenoyah Parris, The Bailey sisters, Lupita Nyong'o and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie are great examples. I will say that locs (I love locs) especially "well groomed" or micro/sister locs are generally perceived as more acceptable than loose 4c hair. People really think that a BW wearing her natural hair (specifically loose 4c hair) cannot afford to get her hair done.
Omg!! I love you…you GET IT! It saddened me that the lady talking on the podcast was correlating natural hair with being poor and unable to “afford” getting our hair done. When in actuality us naturals have the $$, we just love our OWN hair and we don’t want to wear someone else’s hair on our head. 🤷🏾♀️ Thank you so much for commenting!
I always thought I'd feel more confident in weaves and wigs, but actually felt self conscious because I knew I was hiding my natural hair. When I stopped hiding and decided to loc my hair 5.5 years ago, ive never felt more confident in my whole life! Once I accepted myself, no one else's opinion mattered.
That's what’s up! Your commitment to your natural hair journey is inspiring. Keep rocking those beautiful locs with pride and thank u for watching and commenting ❤️
I took a break so I can back more clear headed, but girl yes I’m BACK! 😜Thank you for still rocking with me , you don’t know how much it means to me ❤️
Would you believe me if I said I felt the EXACT same way when I started my loc journey? I understand how frustrating it can be when your natural hair doesn't grow as quickly as you'd like.Just know that your natural beauty shines through REGARDLESS of length, and with patience and care, your hair will flourish in its own time. 😌
4C loose natural girly hair. I've never had this problem. Not even the once. I've worn my hair out and fluffy or in braids/twists. I've put my hair in complex styles and simple. It's also pretty long too. I've got nothing but compliments from people of all races. So long as your hair is healthy, it's going to be pretty.
Since locing my hair, it's the most confident I have ever felt.
Same girl…same! I just wish more black woman can have this feeling of freedom and confidence you and I share…thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I agree 100%
THIS!!! I loc'd my hair 6 days ago and I feel the most beautiful that I've ever felt🥰

I'm a loose natural, but when I want to be fancy, I'll braid or twist my hair and take inspiration from loc hairstyles
Yes! I just threw ALL my wigs out! I found my natural curls and Afro more appealing than straight yaki 18 inch buss downs!

@LocinwithCB it grows just fine. They need to learn to retain it.
Type 4 hair is the least appealing hair. Other hair types are beautiful. It could look messy and still look nice.
Hater 👎🏾
@LocinwithCB Cool. My thoughts, tho.
