Me putting myself first and giving boundaries a couple years ago = I’m so mean now. Nothing has changed. I’m just less accessible and honestly , I’ve been so much happier . Seeing my late mom also always extend and break her back over for others made me realize this as well, and I used to BEG her to put herself first. Even before me.
