I can’t stop watching your great videos! I would like to ask a question. When you omit egg yolks, what is the reason? Do the egg yolks make the cookies too dense?
I made these as part of my batch cooking this week! (I made mine with pecans and walnuts instead of almonds.) They're quite chewy and not very sweet at all. I can see them being good for an on-the-go breakfast when you don't have time to sit down and cook something in the morning. Sasha, do you have any recipes for what to do with the two leftover egg yolks?
That's great! So glad these cookies found their way on your weekly menu. Two leftover egg yolks, well, I would add banana and two tbsp ground oats and make some quick pancakes for my breakfast next day.
@@HowToCookSmarter In fact, I wound up combining them with some leftover coconut milk I had from a different recipe to make dairy-free coconut custard! (But pancakes sound amazing too!)
