Yeah, it's not like his RUclips viewers have a paid subscription in which he was contractually obligated to produce videos at a certain pace. His Twitch viewers know how many hours he spends streaming the games every week in addition to whatever time it takes to make the RUclips summaries. You can see VODs of the whole playthrough streams on his other RUclips channel as well.
He's got about 200 games to go. If he does one game a week, it'll take just under four more years to complete the challenge. In that time, we won't even remember if he skipped a week for some self rest. But the internet will remember if he burns himself out and doesn't finish this magnum opus. I hope he has a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
For what it is worth, I like having 1 game be one video, too. I think that is a good idea and it makes your video library very easy to search and navigate.
When I subbed for the Beating Every N64 game challenge I was never expecting 1 video per week that's way too much imo. I want you to be able to take your time with this since it's such a huge commitment. Really been enjoying your work so far though!

This isn't the N64 challenge for us, it's for you. I'm 42, married, and care for a ton of cats and colonies and have a ton of other obligations myself so every video won't be consistent. Beating all the NTSC N64 games is a goal I set for myself and I already know I can't please everyone. Keep up the great work!

Don't worry about missing a week, especially one that's straight up a holiday. I think this is one of the best ongoing series on RUclips at the moment, and being able to take your time with each video rather than rushing is one of the things that leads to quality in production. I also like the one game per episode format, sometime after the whole series is over I'd like to rewatch them all in order of game release to see how the console changed over it's lifespan.

I'm an elementary school teacher, so I often do not get to see the effects of my time with the children once they go on to middle and high school. I for one love that you do the Japanese games. I grew up with the N64, and I got a ton of games from a friend when he got his PS2, so I always felt like I had seen so much on the console. But it’s so cool to see just how much there was that I never knew existed. And no worries about missing a week. Life happens. People can be too demanding. Thank you for the update!

I for one love that you do the Japanese games. I grew up with the N64, and I got a ton of games from a friend when he got his PS2, so I always felt like I had seen so much on the console. But it’s so cool to see just how much there was that I never knew existed.

One video per week is a good goal, but definitely don't burn yourself out. It's super fun and nostalgic watching these and made me bust out the ol' N64 to play it again, but it's still a huge undertaking. Mad respect man.

Love the raw video here, been following you for a long time and honestly didn't even know you had a 1/wk schedule lol but it's always the highlight of my night when I see them. This just proves you're human...it's easy to forget that sometimes with creators cuz you're just background noise a lot of the time. Anyone giving you grief, try to not let it get to you man. Love the challenge and love watching games I didnt even like, like Shadow Man. Hated that game but listening to you play it was great. Still waiting for Hybrid Heaven lol

I LOVE this sort of video, man! This is a fantastic compromise between keeping an upload schedule and tackling big/important games that require more time than normal to edit.
