Thanks for your input about a top 10 list. I went with the Viper-X's because Ultra seemed to be a company I saw mentioned on different reviews and recommendations. FYI I think it would be cool to see a situational list. I know you seemed to be joking about it in the video, but a top 10 situational list that fits your play style for Outdoor play, Indoor play, Windy, Blocking, etc would be interesting to see.

Hello Mike, love your channel. I love suede bags rated at a 2 speed. I find that on a sticky board when humidity is higher I can make them faster on the slow side by spinning them at a faster rate and they will slide further up the board when landing on the same spot on the board. I also have mixed higher speed bags now that I can throw that roll and cut for a dirty game style.

I like your take on the bag ranking and have started to get bags that fill the gaps in my throwing style for the condition changing aspect at the more common places I play. When I do go to a new place I typically have something that can handle the different playing conditions.

I will say my buddy and I both bought swag bag maniacs, I got the Grey smiley bags and he got the blue owl, my bags brand new to brand new were substantially looser and felt faster then his before break in, his also felt as if the herringbone was actually slightly thicker.

Great questions - really enjoyed this format. Regarding 2025 bags, should be very interesting year even with existing models. For instance, talked with Lucky bags owner extensively. He's making three bag templates smaller - Pro Sniper and Luciano were two of them. He's keeping the "larger" template of the Elites. I measure and weigh all of my bags. Should be interesting to throw a "smaller" PS.

It’s back to the original Pro Sniper template so, find an older set if you wanna try the small template without paying full pop

Question, I've wondered if there is a possibility that darker colors could be slower in identical situations. So, is there anything to this, because it makes some think. Dark colors absorb heat more than light colors. For instance a black roof will be hotter in temperature than a tan roof.
Could that be the difference in why dark bags play slower? Or is it all just in our mind? Hmmm...

Hey Mike, love your videos. My parents got a couple sets of bags from ACA cornhole (touring pro and synergy pro) and when I look at them compared to my szb glaciers they are very strange for something marketed as a professional bag. I would be interested in seeing what you think about them.
    Great vids btw

Good video man! I get what youre saying about break in and dirt but I really do think that Orange and Red Carpet (Herringbone and Viking) specifically are definitely slower when broken in and slowed down the same way as lets say a white. I agree that the carpet isnt dyed as the polypropylene is created before hand but the pigment of the color is still put into the plastic prior to the fabric being created. While I dont have definitive "proof", testing tons and tons of sets while creating new bags has been pretty consistent for Orange and red being noticeably (almost a full speed) slower than the white. Blues and greens and greys are all pretty similar.
In terms of liner, a lot of the time the liner doesnt really protect the herringbone, it honestly is just so when the fabric does rip the beads dont come flying out. There are some companies that do an adhesive liner or actually have it glued to the carpet which im not sure if that actually protects the carpet, but prevents the beads coming out if the fabric gets wear and tears.

I’ve thrown white grey blue orange, all play the exact same to me
I think the proof is in the fact that the people who believe there is a difference, and divided within themselves. Some think darker colours are faster. Some think they are slower 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Content idea
Without giving a ‘my favourite/top 10 bags’ due to you feeling different bags are good for different things
Perhaps a video where you list your personal preferred/go to bag for different types of shots/scenarios
Ex - these are my fav flop/roll
    Hole runners
    When conditions are playing fast
    When conditions get sticky
    Sub categories!
Helps you out a variety of bags on display and promote what you feel are their strengths

Anyone who thinks cornhole is "too easy" does not play, or does not play very much. And anyone who thinks pro games are all just 12-12 every round, does not watch very much pro cornhole.

I would say that is is relatively easy in comparison to other leisure sports though. If you take golf for instance, the gap between the best players in the world and the weekend warriors is far greater than in cornhole. Even something like pickle ball is much more difficult to become relatively proficient. That’s not a knock on cornhole. It’s easy to pick up and that is what’s so great about it.

So, Mike didn't really answer the question of which bags are his favorite. And to be fair, I don' think that it the right question to ask. The question should be is what bag does he throw the most often. That can easily be determine by empirical data. So, I watched all of Mike's "What's in my bag" videos and counted which bags make it into his bag the most often. Just because a set of bags is in his bag doesn't mean he throws it, but if he takes it often enough, he must like it. So....here is your list going back from April to last week. #1-Whatever by Big Mac Bags (9times), #2-Rex by Nola Bags and X'd Out by Templar Bags (8 times), #4-Chaos-L by Swag Bags and Aftershock by True Cornhole (7 times). Those are your top 5. The next with 5 times were Jefe & Tornado, with 4 times were Marilyn, Ranger, Zero Hour, and Coyote.

    Great videos Mike.
Not sure if you have already discussed this, but would love a breakdown on the issue of stepping in Cornhole.
I believe if the sport is serious about being an Olympic sport, the step rule needs to be outlawed. Otherwise it is too hard to police.
Seems like all the new young players coming through are steppers.
    Your thoughts?

In my opinion, if they think it's boring seeing elite players throw 12, 10, 12, 12 rounds. I think they should turn it off, I have no problem because I want to be an elite player throw that high ppr. It brings my competitive side out makes me work harder and harder. But it's not an easy game.
And I don't think the color of the slow side of a bag is slower or faster. I think they are all the same to me.
And humidity boards u use the same bags because I throw hard anyways so I throw carpets low and hard.

Nice Job Mike. I did enjoy this podcast. I started playing cornhole this past september . My very first opponent happens to be Cheyanne Bubenhiem the womens champ. Lets just say it was over before I knew it. Lol . I did stick it out and listen to all your bag podcast. Moving from Clearwater beach to Jacksonville has been a change in the humidity on the boards. My bags would stay on the boards in Clearwater ,but here in Jacksonville they fly off the back. So I in the market for some carpet bags like sancho ,Capo,Slps or some drop in from Corntix. Any help would be appreciated since I already have 15 sets of bags !! don't tell my wife! lol Please do more shows like this. Ty

Something you could touch on that I hear alot from new players is wanting a slower bag but they have a very wild looking bag flight... It's kinda frustrating to get newer players that want sticky bags but then complain about kicking and try to explain that they're better off with a faster bag.... I know with each review you bring the kick up but maybe a video just about this subject and hopefully it would get shares to help those who really need the input

Only change I can see that can be made to make the game more strategic without changing fundamentals you need to do something like curling
First bag thrown by each player can’t go in the hole
Beyond that I’m not sure what you can do aside from adjusting distances for different levels
