If you bake the crisp topping on a sheet tray separately until it's crispy and then top the fruit with it before baking together, you get a crisp that's actually crisp.

Oh that's a cool thought! Never tried it!

How long do you bake the crisp separately?

Since there not replying just use crunchy granola it will go to your taste and crunchy texture!

You can probably just broil it for like 5 mins towards the end to crisp it up.

Thank you for the recipe! This was my first time making a peach dessert and it was DELICIOUS. I love how simple and easy it was to make. Since I didn’t have any plain oats, I ended up using apple cinnamon instant oatmeal and it was the perfect combination.

I made your peach crisp recipe last night. I’ve never made one before. It was delicious! My family loved it! It was crisp on top. Only thing I changed was the amount of sugar. My family says “Thank you for this recipe !”

I have peaches that need to be used. I am definitely making this to go with my homemade brown sugar cinnamon ice cream.
Update: This is da bomb. I am making it again and it pairs very nicely with my brown sugar cinnamon ice cream. Well done. I have replaced my peach crips recipe in my collection to this one. It is by far the best I have tasted yet

I was planning on doing this with canned peaches since that's what I have on hand. Fresh is best but if you use canned then I personally rinse them and dry them before mixing them in.

    • @TheAnthonyKitchen

I agree with the getting as close to a fresh slice as can. Rince , & dab with paper towel or, ☆☆☆ walmart tea towels. (Cheap, & reusable). ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I have pounds of frozen peaches plan to do same. I'm out of corn starch, I'll swap in flour, until buy a big box, or a box of powder for vanilla pudding, or tapioca, both interesting options.
