- I got this car back in October of 2016 and it's a blast to drive around. It runs well and it can really surprise people when i go wide open throttle. I promise that I'll get better at this. Expect more car videos to come. Hope you enjoy!!

Oh so you live in Peoria, IL. Yeah the original owner is the guy who built it. I worked at a shop that he had previously worked at and was able to get updates on the build. He was literally the first to do anything like this, and he spent an amazing amount of time and money building this thing. If you still have it you still own one rare ass vehicle. Super cool.
I have an 07 escape with a 3.5l taurus engine supercharged and it goes insanely fast.

How long did it take to do the swap? Do you have a build parts list? I had 3.0 Taurus swap motor in my 98 svt contour. Ran a bit too fast around a turn. Doh! But this sounds like it may be a good snow vehicle. Was it an easy swap?

the 2.0L engine was from the SVT focus just Detuned im sure with a ECU Flash and some parts it will drive like an SVT after all the Escape is literally built off of the focus's platform, and the 2.0L come with a manual trans, the V6 Duratec. . . its an "OK" amount of tuning parts but if i ever get an escape (hopefully) im getting the 2.0 with the manual
Thsee Escapes were built on the same platform as the Mazda 626 not the focus
Escape and Mazda Tribute have the same 3.0
I recently swapped my Mazdas motor cause it broke down. And put a motor of a escape 3.0

Make sure u keep an extra ecm around those cars eat ecm. Oh maybe you can put some kind of fuses are fusible links on the coil connectors so that when the coil goes bad it doesn't burn up your ECM

where could I find which supercharger to buy for my 2011 escape?
That’s my question, I’ve looked all over. I’ve heard our transfer cases can’t handle much more than 260hp so might have to upgrade that, unless you have a fwd model. It’s also really tight on top of our 3.0 litre motor. Although some say with a few modifications a supercharger from an older version ie the one in this vid can be fit onto ours.

Mine has 315,000 and still runs hard with my heavy foot I have been trying to kill it and it won't die anything that breaks is minor and can be fixed I have been able to blow it up will still bury the speedo
Same I have an 02 escape with 290k, refuses to die, she’s been jumped off hills off roading in the deepest of water and ran without tranny fluid for a few days, still runs and drives 😂
I like it I am a Chevy guy but I own a 2003 escape and I am going to do mine ford tough with Chevy stuff I have a brand new Chevy small block built for nitrous sitting on the stand in my garage just broke in the camshaft motor has 45minutes idle time and I was in a accident leaving me handicapped so motor came out of my 74 k5 blazer and has been on the stand in my garage waiting to make a hotrod

So long as the supercharger can fit the engine. This supercharger was meant for a smaller motor but there are some s/c kits for the bigger motors as well.

i think kits run like 3k-4k depending on manufacturer. The engine is a 3.0L V6 duratec
