Mega Jynx is Elsa Pokemonified. Penguins also waddle walk which fits with how bowling pins wobble and fall. That bowling pin penguin is one of the most unassumingly genius 'mons that have ever went through the developers' minds, including 'mons that did make the games.
Flamigo is a lawn flamingo, a pool floaty, and a boxing glove, and it stores fighting aura similar to lucario but by tying itself up to tie into that inflatable inspiration of the design. That is ten times more creative than the generations of Pidgeys and Pidoves and other birds that actually are 'just normal birds' that literally no one ever had a problem with. Minccino is one of my favorites and it's just a chinchilla. The boxing gorilla is more of a concept than the Slakoth line are, as it's animal + element and not just animal and that's it.

The bowling pin penguin should've been paired with like a snow ball blowing ball pokemon of some kind and maybe even a professional bowler pokemon to make it a trio
That was actually the case! Spheal was originally designed to be a bowling ball sealion enemy of the bowling pin penguin. They probably abandoned this idea when Zangoose/Seviper came into the picture as the go-to rivalry duo. They removed the penguin, and redesigned Spheal to look less like a bowling ball and gave it a family.
Several of those had a lot of potential, even if they need a little or a lot of work until the final product ! Almost an entire new gen of Mons here and in other "leaks" from the past, all together would be amazing !!

11:27 I don't think they're based on instruments, rather they look like indoor plumbing combined with fish. the first stage looks like a Hose combined with a Faucet, and the second stage looks like it might be washing machine or dishwasher with a hose on its back.
Ya know whats funny that i just thought about. At the time, they started developing the 3rd generation, and that game silly pins was very popular. I had it myself. 4:22 Yes it's a peacock but we have Flamigo who is a normal flamingo. It would be cool if the bird was made of crystals 🤩Maybe he could be named Gemcok?

If you want an example of a normal bird, the normal/flying types are mostly comprised of Just Normal Birds, like Pidgey or Pidove.
The bubble head pokemon I think is a Beta Castform. It looks like it's based on a Teru Teru Bozu, which is part of Castform's inspiration according to interviews
My top 3 are the Chameleon, the Skull Bird and the Diving Beetle. Absolute travesty they were all cut. I personally would've ranked the Peanut Dino much lower though.
I'm thinking that the one-eared rabbit probably has two. It looked to me like they were just pointing straight up and the one was difficult to see due to angling. If it was described as having only one in the leak, my bad.
It was implied to basically have fused ears by its beta name, "Monorabi". Still, I'm really sad it got cut. I suspect it might've been reworked into the Pawmi line though, the colors and paws are pretty similar.
Which cut Pokemon is your favorite? 👀
The mermaid one, looks like it had potential if it could be fleshed out a bit but I guess Gamefreak managed to do that and called it Primarina.

the stump looks like it has an apple for a nose and what looks like a piece of bark that's missing next to the nose is it's eye
That second gorilla-looking fella would *clearly* be called Puguzaru. 😉
7:51 That one looks like it could have been a split evolution for the Weedle line a la Froslass minus the stone.
18:41 We've actually had evidence of Mega Jynx for awhile now. Dataminers found her Cry inside the files of Pokémon Home
The only scrapped pkmn i want are the peanut line, water bug line, flamingo, chameleon and the cassowary.
You just like bowling like that one dude from tool academy
Bro hearted a bot message.
Not mentioned in this video, but Game Freak robbed us from Beta Lickilicky. Such an amazing design that was downgraded for no reason.
The bubble head pokemon I think is a Beta Castform. It looks like it's based on a Teru Teru Bozu, which is part of Castform's inspiration according to interviews
Nope, beta Castform is also there in the same files as the bubblehead guy, along with its forms. So it's not even a form.
@@dundee6402 I don't think that lil toothpaste looking guy next to the castform formes is beta castform.
@@oucyan It doesn't matter what you think. It is objectively early Castform since its beta Japanese name matches its final.
@@dundee6402 ah
When i first saw the peanut dragon i was so upset it was cut cause its so cute... although i am allergic
8:43
It looks like a fakemon from a hackrom
11:48
That's just RSE's soundtrack manifested in Pokémon form
26:41. Bug type? It has flowers on its head and a ghostly tailed body like Duskull, how is it a bug type?
6:00 This is what will eventually become Elgyem, I think?
My top 3 are the Chameleon, the Skull Bird and the Diving Beetle. Absolute travesty they were all cut. I personally would've ranked the Peanut Dino much lower though.
All the top 10 vetamons were Replaced with new mons or scrapped due to them having a mon thats already similar
The Peanut Dinosaur is Breloom man.
The sableye lookalike looks like a chupacabra caricature
YAAAAASSSSSSSS PEANUT DINOSAUR AND BOWLING PENGUIN PIN!!!!
I thought the flying eeveelution will include on this video even though there is concept art
