I've done 15 miles on mine since assembling it 5 days ago. Have 4 bars left on energy screen. Not sure how much farther I will be able to go on the initial charge. Does 31 mph consistently. Horn and headlight didn't work out of the box, going back and forth with China seller Hipatoo with no luck on a fix. Seat is not comfortable if you weigh over 200 lbs. Grips are uncomfortable after a while. I'm overall happy with it so far except for poor customer service from Amazon seller Hipatoo.
With the rear seat, those 4 screws don't have to be removed. Only the one other screw. The seat slides onto those other screws and the one extra screw keeps everything in place. You also didn't re-mount the tail light assembly. It comes with extra long wire from the controller so it will reach to the bracket on the back of the rear seat.
5:28 “the bike is more grounded “. Is what your trying to say i think😅. Thanks for the this review though! I’ll be buying this Wednesday. And this was the type of review i needed 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Your ridstar has a 1000w motor, 1500w peak. If it failed to beat the 750w ouxi that would have been quite the letdown. Did you ever get out a gps speedometer to figure out whose display needed calibration?
@@Gunna.111 Thanks for all of your help. Do you know of a reliable battery that will fit in the existing ridstar mount and bracket? I'd prefer to carry a backup rather than replacing or adding brackets and wires
Yooo bro can you help me with my Ridstar I cnt get the throttle nor pedal assist to wrk and when I put it in wlk mode the motor just clunks & stutter what do I need to do in the settings
I have the ouxi v8, but I don’t like to stock headlight. And I’m trying to find a good like “bar light” that fits the connection cables of the bike (if you know what I mean) so do you maybe have an link or an specific model for a bar light or not. Like the content bro💯( or can you give the link for the bar light on your ridstar please?
well one has a 750w motor and the other a 1000w motor so you aren't comparing apples to apples. So until ouxi decides to also sell a vehicle that breaks the 750w legal limit for bicycles to be allowed on the road, ridstar will always win the power competition
Is this bike in class 2 since it has a ll the spec for class two if i dont mess with the setting and keep it stock am i allowed to ride it since im only 13 and my parents would like some confirmation.
don't listen to the people who tell you "if it has pedals, it's legal." It's only legal if motor has nominal power of 750w or less. The ouxi qualifies. The ridstar doesn't, unless you get the cheapest one with no suspension, no hydraulics, and a small battery
He probably didn't go inside and adjust the setting on voltage four top mph so you can get max speed otherwise it's kind of like a governor on the bike unless you do that that's why the ride star appears so much faster
Bouta order a Ridstar tomorrow 🙌🏾

I almost got the V8 until I saw the ridstar it was the best value for the money 's with the full suspension and hydraulic brakes is a plus for me

It’s in the settings, I believe setting p02
Yo which bike feels more torque and accelaration and like what pulls you mo when you accelarate

Yes it only goes 30 mph which is 2 mph over the ebike limit... But it doesn't really matter since it has working pedals... Which means it's legal
That's if you change the settings too.. It can go below 30 mph if you change the settings
