Finding Gold Nuggets in abandoned gold mining area of Halls Creek, Western Australia
HTML-код

- I return to the old gold mining area near Halls Creek (Western Australia) where I’ve found quite a few nuggets with my metal detector. Trying different settings on the machine this spot should reveal more gold. Since I found nuggets near the foot of the hills I’m curious and spend another few hours on the ridges above to see if I can locate the source of the gold near the old gold mines and workings up high. I end up crushing and panning a quartz rock out a reef from the top of the hills.

...good hunting, have a great week..
Who is here in the first hour to support Krissy!!?? 😍
Hello Krissy. It gives me a real lift to watch your videos, ESPECIALLY when your onto the gold. Your enthusiasm is priceless! 🇭🇲🤗
Life’s too short to be unhappy- I’m glad I can transfer some positivity onto others ✌️
My favorite channel! You made my day Krissy. Happy happy Joy Joy! I wish I had known about gold detecting when I lived in Australia back in 1979. I lived close to the gold field of Araluen, near Moruya, NSW. Oh well, I was too busy finding perfect empty waves on the south coast.
Krissy that water I'm sure was delightful after persisting in the Kimberley climate. Once again your inspiring me. Cheers.
Thank you Krissy for a very knowledgeable video. 5 little pieces better then none. Pounding those reef pieces was hard work. 1 gram and a half. About 100 dollars.
Look forward to your posts every Sunday. See you next week Krissy
Great Video Chrissy.
Dint give up on that area.

Your garden is growing, good job, enjoy every minute.
Another great adventure Krissy.
Its lovely to gold in your hand again & to see vegetation & wildlife returning after the fires.
We're promised snow soon here in the UK.
Take care & stay safe 👍🇬🇧🍀
Hi Krissy... thanks for my weekly fix..... I feel so much better now..LOL. I'm surprised that the weather affects the detector to any appreciable degree....that is something I didn't know about. Cheers
The ground is so different to Central Victoria it looks void of gold, but you have proved it to be really good, if that was here I'd walk straight past, different techniques apply. Great work and some nice gold Krissy, thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Pete
Hi Pete, I know exactly what you mean. Travelling around full time makes it hard to get used to the geology in a certain area because it's totally different in the next spot. That just proves again: gold is where you find it. In this case the old timers led me to the spot.
Good to see the subs growing. 👍🏴🇬🇧
What an amazing place and some beautiful gold ⛏️🤠🇦🇺
Looks like you've found a good area Krissy. you should definitely recheck and dig the target you mentioned. I watch Bill Southern from Arizona (his channel is Nugget Shooter Journals). He is very good with Minelab detectors. Anyway, he is a firm believer that you need to dig every target, he's been surprised more than not with gold when thinking it was trash. Good luck to you Krissy, looking forward to next week's video.
Hi Matt, I'd be shocked to see how many gold nuggets I've walked over in my life but with the rubbish dug I could probably fill up a truck. Sometimes it's just intuition. Bill Southern makes some great videos and knows what he's talking about 👍🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever So true Krissy, sometimes you just have to go with your gut instinct. Even with the ones you walk over, you still do very well.
Love watching Krissy and her finds. I’m always worried about her being on her own but I’m thinking there must be someone in the background helping out. At least I hope so. I would feel more relaxed knowing she’s not all alone in that country ❤️
always a blast coming by fam. nice AU indeed. keep on swinging. GOLD SQUAD OUT!!!
Thanks for the visit 👍🏻
Such a natural explaining what you do and some lovely gold finds Krissy, just love your channel, so happy for you. As always stay safe and be gold blessed, fantastic

Great video! I’m hoping you will find big nuggets in the future. You deserve a big payday. Cheers from Missouri, USA.
You work so hard hope you find huge nuggets in the future
Thanks Krissy,

Enjoying your prospecting adventures as always🙂 It’s getting cold ❄️here in Ontario, Canada so I can’t say I wasn’t a little envious of your weather out there. Take care of yourself!
I Love watching too... From Québec, Canada

Hello Krissy.... just found your channel.... and look forward to your next adventure...
Welcome aboard, Kathleen!
Thanks for another great video!
Well done Krissy
You might as well take up residency up there 😄
Stake your claim!
See you next week mate, thanks for the Sunday viewing. A big thumbs for ya. 👍
Terrific to see you are having a nice run of nuggets after those fires. It's also nice to hear you talking about the "line" of the faults/ outcrops & of making sure you don't encroach on active leases. There are a few "prospectors"(?) out there who need to understand that as well. And don't forget Krissy the ground between any "mines/shafts" DOES have gold in it, it just hasn't been found yet. That's the erosion points to cover thoroughly. I hear there are some heavy rains & thunderstorms expected. Is Mark still prospecting & does he put it on the tube? Keep swinging & be safe.🌩️😁👌
No rain for the next week, I think, but we'll get it sooner or later... Mark is still prospecting but currently doesn't have any plans of starting a channel.
A pleasure as always krissy,
Happy hunting!
Really fun adventure and I enjoyed it thank you
I love this channel and I admire your positive attitude.
Dangerous temperatures this week up your way stay safe
That looks like a great little swimming hole.
Beautiful drone shots, nice music and lots of happy gold finds! Love your videos Kristen. Be careful out there ! Hey! I wondered what was poking me in the behind! Who knew it was a nugget!? Lol...
You're so lucky! When I check it's usually spinifex needles 😂
There is no gold here where I am so it makes me want to be there with you picking out gold. Great gold finds. Good luck and good hunting.
Nice! Thank you.
That water 💦 hole is a oasis..
Well done 👍.
Cheers Famo59 👍🤓🥂⛏
Can't wait for more rain to come so the water gets a bit clearer ⛈
@@OutbackGoldFever
Stay safe and keep cool..
Have a wonderful week..🥂
@@Famo59 You too, Famo
You know your detector really good
Another great video Krissy,I have been in lockdown but I am moving up to Emerald Springs NT tomorrow and then shortly after I will be giving my detector a work out and I hope to get as much luck as you have working so hard, good luck for tomorrow.
You can tell you have a real bad case of gold fever when you paint your finger nails gold LOL
Awesome adventure thanks for sharing
Still stuck freezing in Michigan. At least I get to watch you have fun looking for gold.
As usual Krissy your persistence has paid off. Loved watching the video as always. Can I ask where your accent is from. I love the way you say boots. Thanks again for your great footage. Keep em coming. Go girl. 👍
Hi Brian, I'm from Germany, the accent will stick with me forever, I think. You're the second person to comment on my pronunciation of 'boots' 😂
Love the video
Krissy, awesome
Still on good gold!
I think it was great you had a billabong to cool off in. Better than the blistering heat and flies. I like seeing you but worry sometimes as you are alone andI personally know the dangers of the bush. I hope you have an eperb Robby AU
Hi Robby, yes, I carry an Epirb in my backpack 👍🏻
Good stuff 👍
nice work mate
Tan said ya new haircut looks good 👍 nice nuggies n a cool dip gotta be happy with dat cheers
Tanya is so sweet - had to re-cut my hair several times as it's 400 km to the next hair dresser 💇🏼♀️ Work in progress...
I would love to be there. Great gold day!
best of luck to you!
Great hunting! What a nice place to cool down after a long day. I look forward to seeing your next hunt, Krissy. Thank you.
I would like you to have a comparison with your dector and Garrett ATX love watching your videos
Need to invent robots with metal detectors that freeze when signal is hit, and then dig a hole to pinpoint target. Just tend to your fleet and collect the samples. You could be a robot herder/gold miner lol.
I like the idea of sitting in the shade watching the nuggets being dug up 😁
Good one! Does the moisture in the ground after a rain give any advantages when detecting? Glad to see you picking up nuggets.
Sometimes I've got the feeling that targets in wet soil sound a bit more distinctive but I'm not sure if it's scientifically proven or just my imagination 🤷🏼♀️
Really nice job you're doing, it mustn't be easy creating quality footage out there in the heat
I thank you for doing what you do I look forward to you finding gold I have fine gold here In Wyoming no great gold through you i still win thank you. God bless
New Yorker here, Enjoyed watching you detect for the Gold Pieces and using that GPS Programing Doodad , I can see that just might come in handy for locating the Old waterways, that use to flow here and there. So? Does it have a name?
Well done Chrissy Pleased you are enjoying your adventure. That gold you were getting could be coming off the rock nearby. I just realised I was last there in 1992 when 2 to 5 grammers were quite common. I saw 47 oz nugget got by an aboriginal and his family from heaped soil from a grader scrape at Brockmans. He just bent down and picked it up. Hope for you yet young lady.
Thanks for the encouragement! There is still good gold out there, just a matter of walking over it 👍🏻
I'd be savin those Shade Tree waypoints too . . they seem harder to find than a live fish in a Sushi Bar : / Pretty sure the other side O that Fault Line used to be the other half of Texas, kinda looks like it : €
Maybe you should take your Equinox into the pool you were enjoying maybe you can find some nuggets in there as well.
Hi Steve, that would be good after a bit more rain. The water is not very clear at the moment but I'm definitely looking forward to trying underwater detecting and sniping for gold soon 👍🏻
And I like the gold fingernails
I hope you get a big one
Hi Krissy, well done @10:26 Wow, that was a subtle pitch change, well spotted!
I notice you don't physically grid a patch, do use some other technology?
Do you find yourself swapping out the nugget finder back to the 14" factory coil?
Thanks for sharing!
Hi Bazz, I should probably grid my patches more thoroughly but I do try to cover as much ground as much as I can in the ultimate vicinity. With more waypoints on my GPS I then try to find more targets in between but usually don't mark out boxes or drag a chain.
When looking for deeper gold I sometimes change back to the standard coil but for everyday swinging I prefer the lighter Z-Search coil.
im new sub,,,,great job,,,thanks
Thanks for the sub, rodfather!
Try running a recycling sluice out there, or a rocker box.
Hi have a good day.
I like the color of your nail polish ah ah ah
I want to go
Great video as always. I really like it up on those ridges. And where's your bikini? 😜
Hi mate.
Great to see you pulling a wage.
I wished that fire had been through when we were there
as the spinifex was hell, just could not enjoy the hunt at all.
How's the old mate at the camp going, he was unbelievable
how he operated the wiper snipper being only one armed.
Have you had a look at the old village.
Stay safe.
2DFERS, Dennis and Donna.
Hi Dennis, can't believe how fast the grass is growing back. Mother nature is recovering quickly. Ross is alright, keeping himself busy. Got a video coming soon: treasure hunt around the old town ship 👍🏻
Stay safe, you two 💛
Hi Krissy, I love your videos. Where is Mark ? cheers Pete.
We split up a few months ago
@@OutbackGoldFever Sorry to hear that. Keep swinging, cheers Pete.
I see that your shade trees don't have many leaves.. Would the trees be strong enough to put a small bed sheet or scarf over it to make shade when you take rest breaks? You can put strings on the corners to tie it to the branches so it won't blow away..
Not sure how such a setup would handle the whirly winds out here, they're like little tornadoes. Some branches are not very strong since the fires and break easily. And where there is shade in the mornings, it's usually sunny in the afternoons. I like your idea but unfortunately it wouldn't work too well in these conditions.
